papasmurfbell Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 http://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2013/07/10/still-some-free-agents-ravens-are-in-love-with/The Ravens have been busy this offseason, changing the face of their defense, signing their quarterback to a monster contract and getting rid of several name veterans. And they may not be finished making changes.Ravens coach John Harbaugh told the team’s official website more additions could be coming with training camp approaching.“There are still players who are out there unsigned, and we’re in love with, so personnel-wise, yeah,” Harbaugh said.Ravens General Manager Ozzie Newsome has said he’d consider adding a veteran wide receiver. And the Ravens have made an offer to bring fullback Vonta Leach back, but he’s still making up his mind.Adding someone such as wideout Brandon Lloyd (who caught 74 passes last year) might make sense for a team that lacks a true No. 2 receiver. But Lloyd’s still unemployed in July for a reason (he just turned 32), so it’s not as if the Ravens are competing for his affections with many others.
vmax Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 He's putting the heat on his players to have a great camp or you'll be gone quick.
thesteelhurtin Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 Lloyd could be a good signing but you kind of have to throw any stats from the pats out. I know he is old but I can't believe Abraham is still out there. I think the best thing the ravens could do is bring leach back if you can get him for the right price. I don't know how the separation was but dude is a bulldozer inside the 5 and really opens things up for the rb.
cravnravn Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 If Leach hasnt signed with the Fins, Im feeling good about him back in purple.. Im really suprised the Steelers didnt go after him just for the simple fact that Ben needs protection.
Robjr83 Posted July 11, 2013 Posted July 11, 2013 I'd do my best to get Leach back. The guy was a real bowling ball out there.
