rastaman831226 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 Then why assume he has never done this before?Maybe it's because he doesn't want to " lynch " Ray Rice ". Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 It isn't lynching him. Do you normally use that term? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 You should never assume anything. It makes an Ass out of u and me.https://gma.yahoo.com/whyistayed-creator-speaks-loved-him-trusted-him-afraid-150315597--abc-news-topstories.html Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I don't care what anybody thinks, this IS A LYNCHING. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I can think of people who would question the use of that pejorative. Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 I can think of people who would question the use of that pejorative. Screw you and your pejoratives.A-hole. 1 Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2014 Posted September 11, 2014 At least I am noty making light of a racially charged method of murdering black people. Quote
rastaman831226 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 How is that? He hit her twice........ and then she married him. What are we to assume now? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 How many battered women stay with and defend their abusers. Idon't know that he has done this a bunch but I also don't know he didn't. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 No. That is the point. They stay with their abusers even when they have the ability to get away. Quote
tsylvester Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 No. That is the point. They stay with their abusers even when they have the ability to get away. But rarely, rarely, are they confident enough to stand up the abuser. If you notice how she reacts and acted when he "spit on her" outside the elevator, and then again inside, it is clear, she is not affraid of him, thus, he likely has never done this before. Quote
Tornado700 Posted September 12, 2014 Posted September 12, 2014 ....... and then she married him. What are we to assume now? Wait a minute. You are not allowed to assume around here. That priviledge is reserved exclusively for Papa. Quote

I don't knwo enough about abuser abusee dynamics to be able to determine that. I didn't even know that the meeting that they had where she was sitting with Ray was inappropriate. After they said that was the wrong protocol it made sense to me but I never knew that. Wait a minute. You are not allowed to assume around here. That priviledge is reserved exclusively for Papa.Far from it. Just don't discount the obvious to get to the easy narrative. Quote

You stated that you assume Ray Rice must be a repeat abuser because he hit Janay twice. Well, Janay married the guy, are we supposed to assume Janay loves being hit twice? 1 Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 I assume that until it has been determined that she is not a long term victim that she is one. These women stay in these relationships far huge amounts of time. They are beaten countless times. I think the single event victim is the rarity. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 http://thefreethoughtproject.com/duty-officer-caught-camera-beating-girlfriend-arrested/This is obviously a different story but the victim said she wasn't abused. She is full of it. This protection of abusers happens all the time. I don't really get the psychological reasons for it but it happens. Quote
rastaman831226 Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Unacceptable. Not only are your assumptions flawed, but your reasoning for them are absolutely wrong. Disappointed that you actually thought you could slide by with that bowl of crap Papa. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 In what way am I flawed? I need specifics. Quote
rastaman831226 Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 No you don't Papa. This thread is played out. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 14, 2014 Posted September 14, 2014 Then obviously you are disagreeing for the sake of it. If you can't tell me where I am wrong then you must see no real deficiency in my argument. Quote
