papasmurfbell Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Still wondering why the offense is the talk of the town after we have up 43 points. Missed opportunities in offense early? Certainly. But this team wasn't going to score 40 points in Pitt.Well TO's accounted for at least 10 points. Quote
52isUnstoppable Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 But, in the interest of fairness: Haha. The dark ages of Ravens football. That man single handedly squandered like 4 superbowl caliber defenses. Quote

That blame sits squarely at Billick and Ozzies feet. Quote

papasmurfbell Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 But again he didn't pick himself. It is not his job to evaluate him and decide where to draft him. That was all Billick and Ozzie. Quote
dc. Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Well TO's accounted for at least 10 points.Certainly - they accounted for two touchdowns. But one was a fumble, so not sure how that's Joe. Quote
dc. Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I'd like to pick it up and counter with: Yes. Joe has made a bad play. 1 Quote
papasmurfbell Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Certainly - they accounted for two touchdowns. But one was a fumble, so not sure how that's Joe.Joe wasn't the issue. Points would have been taken from Pitt and maybe points added to the Ravens without the turnovers. The issue was you saying the D didn't do their job. I only was pointing out that the offense gave points to Pitt. Quote
dc. Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 I was only saying the conversation had degraded to Joe, which seems silly in the grand scheme of a loss like this. And when we add two losses to Cincy that certainly involve all elements of the game failing, but especially blown leads on big plays by the secondary, it just seems odd that all the focus goes the other way. dc. Posted November 4, 2014 Posted November 4, 2014 Sure. But two serious against Cinch an MD this team is 7-2. Doesn't make Joe any better or worse, but it's all irrelevant. Good teams win games and close games. This team is struggling with both. And everyone is at fault at the most basic levels. Quote
