RIP Merlin Olsen

Heck of a football player from the many accounts I have heard over the years. I barely knew him as a player, but enjoyed him growing up on such shows as "Little House" and "Father Murphy".

I just heard that, I guess Im getting older, I remember his playing days.

I was a kid and we parked outside their hotel when the Rams came to town. We were going to yell at them...give them a hard time....until we saw how big they were comming off the bus!

 

I never understood the knitting thing he was into....but he was a good guy.

I only remember him from his days as an analyst on NBC, and even that's from watching old games.

 

Seems like he was a good guy. RIP.
