vmax Posted November 6, 2015 Posted November 6, 2015 Really, it probably won't get much worse. 2-6 is pretty damn bad and there's no way you can sugar coat it.But this is rock bottom record-wise and talent-wise. Look what Joe has to work with.... With Steve Smith Sr. out for the season, Flacco is left with a bunch of unproven targets and relatively unknown ones. Marlon Brown is the longest tenured receiver, and he's played a grand total of 36 games with Flacco. Four (Chris Givens, Jeremy Ross, Jeremy Butler and Joe Morgan) of the seven receivers currently with the Ravens weren't on their 53-man roster just 34 days ago. Three of them (Butler, Morgan and Breshad Perriman) have never caught a pass from Flacco. The receivers need more than a rapport with Flacco. They need name tags. The Ravens have shuttled through 10 wide receivers so far on the active roster, which partly explains why Baltimore (2-6) is in last place in the AFC North. http://espn.go.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/23379/joe-flaccos-bye-week-priority-introduce-himself-to-his-receivers It's the bye week. Not the beginning of training camp. They have a week to get some chemistry going. Ain't gonna happen. The rushing attack is 17th in the NFL as compared to #8 last year. Forsett is averaging about a yard less per carry than last year. 28th in the Give away/ Take away department....a sure road to ruin. And Come on Man! There is no pass rush or QB pressure whatsoever. Need we talk about the secondary? Rock Bottom. Quote
varaven45 Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 Bingo, Max. Although we may not have seen our worst ball yet. Still, it's hard to imagine things being much worse. Hard to fathom how Joe can be 6th in passing yards (though his QBR is way down). By the way, while we are lamenting over Perriman being MIA, what's going on with Max Williams? In grown toenail, pink eye, jock itch? I tell you, Johnny U and those guys must be rolling in their graves. Quote
cravnravn Posted November 7, 2015 Posted November 7, 2015 I'd like to know what the turnover ratio is on defense, have we had a pick off since week 1? Quote

I think Joe is putting up empty yds. Jimmy Smith week 3 was the last one. Quote
