Ravens Agree With Hawkins

According to media reports, the Ravens have agreed to terms with Chris Hawkins, a cornerback who reportedly worked out for the team on Thursday.

 

The Ravens have not affirmed any signing at this time, but FoxSports.com’s Adam Caplan cited Hawkins’ agent when tweeting the agreement.

 

Hawkins, 6-feet, 186 pounds, is an undrafted free agent out of Louisiana State University who originally signed with the Jacksonville Jaguars but was released in July.

Both guys are probably going to be held around through out the preseason to see what they got.

I have a friend in New Orleans who is a die-hard LSU fan. He told me "not to hold out much hope" for Hawkins. He says he has solid size and speed, but only sees his potential as a solid nickel back at best.
