The Ravens cut the 36-year-old cornerback on Friday after he struggled in his return from ACL surgery. No team needs live bodies in the secondary more than Baltimore, so Harris release is a strong statement about his ability to contribute right now. Harris started his career in Chicago and made a Pro Bowl as a member of the 49ers in 2006. Baltimore has reportedly agreed to terms with undrafted rookie cornerback Chris Hawkins to replace Harris. I wonder if Webb (slow) and F Wash (fast) are recovering more quickly than first thought.Maybe with the Hawkins and Doug Dutch (aka Yugo) pickup, Ozzie and Co are feeling a bit better about CB.
