vmax Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 per WNST...he had knee surgery. The hits keep comming. It must be a minor procedure because the text says he'll be ready for the Opener.I don't see how. This Sucks but the depth is there. Quote
vmax Posted August 31, 2010 Author Posted August 31, 2010 Update... Rookie nose tackle Terrence Cody had surgery to repair the meniscus in his knee last week and will be out for two weeks, coach John Harbaugh said. The second-round pick is considered questionable for the Sept. 13 opener at the New York Jets. "There’s a chance he could be back for the opener against the Jets or, for the bigger guys, sometimes it takes a little longer," Harbaugh said. "The plus is we have a lot of depth on the defensive line right now. That’ll be day to day as we get closer to the game." Cody and the Ravens originally believed the 349-pound lineman wouldn't need surgery. But he had the procedure on Aug. 24. "He’s got a little bit of a tear in his lateral meniscus and had a loose body floating around in there," Harbaugh said.http://weblogs.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/blog/2010/08/cody_has_knee_surgery_out_for_two_weeks.html a little bit of a tear...shit floating around... oldno82 Posted August 31, 2010 Posted August 31, 2010 Good grief! That surprised me. But better it be taken care of with 13 days to the opener than during the season. We can make it without Cody for 2 weeks. And, then he'll hopefully be 100%. Quote
