Speculation by mock drafters show the Ravens taking either Ridley, D.J. Moore, or the OT from Notre Dame who's name I've forgotten. Any thoughts?

Moore would be way over reaching at 16. He needs a lot of work on route running, struggles to get off the los with press coverage...

Quenton Nelson looks to be a solid player, but the Ravens need a right tackle, you don't draft a right tackle at 16.

I love Ridley, been talking him up since his frosh year, he has it all, quickness, tracks the ball, great hands and body control, excellent running routes.

Well Ridley's a good choice but I wouldn't be unhappy if we traded down to get Moore later in the 1st. I think he'll be gone by our pick in the second round.

As for tackle, we need playmakers right now and should do everything we can to draft them.

Kiper says this. I disagree with taking McGlinchey but I"d be ecstatic if we get Ridley in the first and Gesicki in the second. Third round pick should be a qb like Lauletta or Kirk if they're still there. If not then we could take an OT.

Ridley...if they are lucky enough to have him there at 16.

16. Baltimore Ravens
Calvin Ridley, WR, Alabama. Baltimore signed John Brown and Michael Crabtree, but their wide receiver depth chart is still ugly -- especially considering Brown's incessant injury issues. Flooding the market at one position in hopes of hitting big once or twice worked for the Eagles last year, and it could work for the Ravens as well. Ridley didn't test all that well at the combine, but he was incredibly successful at Alabama and could step in and produce right away for an offense that needs so much help at such an important position.https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/draft/news/2018-nfl-mock-draft-browns-get-their-qb-and-pair-myles-garrett-with-bradley-chubb/

i love Moore but he's second round talent...then again....he could be the next Boldin.

How about Guise?

Guice is the consensus No. 2 running back in this draft behind Penn State's Saquon Barkley, who is projected to go in the top five picks. Guice's 6.5 yards per-carry average in a three-year career is the second highest in SEC history behind Bo Jackson's 6.6, according to ESPN Stats & Information.

Given his "unique skill set," Guice has to intrigue the Ravens. He forced 35 missed tackles last season (fourth in college football, according to Pro Football Focus) despite dealing with an ankle injury. Over the last two seasons, Guice has produced 974 yards after contact, which is just 12 yards fewer than Barkley......http://www.espn.com/blog/baltimore-ravens/post/_/id/43587/beast-mode-redux-ravens-bring-in-derrius-guice-for-pre-draft-visit

Rotating him and Collins will destroy defenses.

Reluctant to take a RB in the first round unless it was Barkley. There's plenty of good backs in the later rounds and their careers don't last long enough to warrant a first round pick. Barkley is the exception.
