The NFL is planning to suspend Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback Jameis Winston the first three games of the season for violating the league's personal conduct policy, per league sources.

Will Jameis Winston suspension increase to entire NFL season?

Last Thursday, ESPN reported that Jameis Winston is facing an imminent three-game suspension this upcoming 2018 NFL season for violating the league’s personal conduct policy stemming from a March 2016 incident in which an Uber driver alleged that he grabbed her crotch.

Days later, however, and the league still hasn’t announced the reported suspension of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers quarterback. Why? Well, sources told ESPN that the delay could spell the further deliberation over whether to increase the suspension of the three games or even decrease it.

If everyone is to be believed, they, the NFL, is even more upset that he lied to them, had his friend lie for him, ontop of the assault.

 

There is already talk of the Bucs not picking up his option next year and cutting him.

“The NFL informed me today that I will be suspended for the first three games of the season.

“First and foremost, I would like to say I’m sorry to the Uber driver for the position I put you in. It is uncharacteristic of me and I genuinely apologize. In the past 2 1/2 years my life has been filled with experiences, opportunities and events that have helped me grow, mature and learn, including the fact that I have eliminated alcohol from my life.

“I know I have to hold myself to a higher standard on and off the field and that I have a responsibility to my family, community, and teammates to live above the platform with which God has blessed me. I apologize to my teammates, the Buccaneers organization and fans for letting them down and for not being able to be out there for the first three games of the season. Although I am disappointed in the NFL’s decision, I understand the NFL’s process, and I embrace this as an opportunity to take advantage of the resources available to help me achieve the goals that I have for myself.

“I now look forward to putting this behind me and I will continue to work hard every day to be a positive influence in my community and be the best person, teammate and leader I can be.”

Not much of an apology, and he is disappointed in the league for taking action? Does he write his own stuff and not run it past a legal team at all?

 

They should suspend him for another 3 games for his statement. Jeepers.

That show really sucks, the worst show I've ever seen, I think it is pitched to 15 year olds.

 

Nonetheless, Beadle and Jalen nailed it perfectly. Beadle was blasted the last time she talked about Jamis, now she is shown right. Woody is awesome.

 

And I puke in my mouth a little bit when I ever Shapp is on, ugh..

Really thought he was cleaning up his act. As guess I was wrong. But it was some two years ago.

He has been fighting for 2 yrs. He has never shown me where he can keep his nose clean for an extended period of time. That is why I said he was a poor pick when he was coming out.

He may have cleaned up his act Jpp, but as papa said, he faught, denied this for 2 years and even though he accepted the "plea" deal with the NFL, he really did not take full responsibility for what he did to the young lady, physically.

 

He even lied and got his friend go lie for him to try and skate, all recently.

 

He fooled a lot of people, maybe he has cleaned up and now he just needs to mature to learn how to take responsibility.

Nike is dumping Winston, or should I say, not renewing his contract.
