I guess it is good... I know they had to change somethings because people could not hold/ control their liquor, but doing away with an open infield and putting those bad bands in there seems to have taken some from the fun..

A statement from the mayor's office reads, in part, "The Pimlico plan includes a new state-of-the-art clubhouse and community events center at Pimlico, replacing facilities that were over 100 years old in parts.

"The clubhouse and events center will be a community asset and available for community use when not being used for the Preakness Stakes or other racing meets.

Hmmmm no, get the preakness out of Baltimore. 8 years ago they promised us a super track where the casino is. And you snubbed us. Stonrach needs to fucking go. Your group fucked us in May by not allowing out of towners to wager on Stonrach owned tracks.

Oh, we the tax payers will foot or is that hoof the bill. No money to fix the City schools with a/c but hey, we can put 10++ mil for a track that only gets fans in the stands once a year.....

But wait, they don't just want to build new grandstands and make other repairs, thwy want to flip the track so that they can put a groccery store at the track as well.....
