I think he likes collecting checks.  I think he is cut after the season.

Put on IR, C-3,4 or 5 bulging disk, retire or have the surgery, Peyton tried to play after the surgery, didn't go so well for him, even though they won a Super Bowl....

Peyton was along for the ride there.  He at least knew what to do.  Joe is not nearly as smart as Peyton.
