OutsideRzAcE Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 First Arkansas now Sweeden? What's going on here. We have some bright people here. Let's put our heads together...i'm sure we've seen enough movies to figure this out. Didn't a birds die at the beginning of "The Core?" Quote
cravnravn Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 2 million fish have turned up dead in the Chesapeake south of the Bay Bridge..They are blaming it on "the cold"...Yeah OK, and I have an ocean front lot for you in Louisiana, Quote
Guest BallTMore Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 Wait until they start coming back to life and pecking people to death. It's clearly the Zombie bird/fish apocalypse predicted for 2012. Quote
vmax Posted January 6, 2011 Posted January 6, 2011 I'm finding them around my yard. I think my son getting a bb rifle for Christmas may have something to do with it. Quote
Spen Posted January 10, 2011 Posted January 10, 2011 Oh I thought this thread was about the Orioles. Quote
dc. Posted January 12, 2011 Posted January 12, 2011 Crav - fish kills happen all the time. Same with bird kills. Quote

Oh I know, but they usually come along and blame it on "red tide"..This is the first time I ever heard of cold killing 2 million fish. On another note, that really struck me as odd, while on vacation in Ft Myers, every morning there were numerous(too many to count) dead baby horseshoe crabs washed up on the beach..I even asked some of the locals about it and they had no explanation..Horseshoe crabs a tad bigger than baseballs were everywhere on the beach. Temp is a pretty common factor. Ocean City had a major fish kill a few years back when I was down there - blamed entirely on a rapid change in current and water temp, and that was in the middle of summer! Not sure on the horseshoe crabs, but could be anything - including temperature again. Maybe they were born in the wrong spot and water temp, currents, etc were off? Followed a warm current too early in their lives? Who knows... nothing I even pay attention to. Though I am a big fan of apocalyptic theory. lol Quote
