Ravens, Jackson agree

Tomorrow at 7pm, do your self a favor, Florida vs Kentucky 2 qbs worth drafting next April.

Will Levi's, 6'3-231, he is accurate on all of the throws, has a gun with a hairline trigger. Did I mention he can run? No, not like Lamar, but you don't need that, he can make defenses pay with his legs though.

For Florida, Anthony Richardson, same size, has a cannon for an arm, still learning the qb position, working on making all of the throws. Strong, big and he too can run very, very well.

Levi's is the more NFL ready qb, Richardson just has not played that much football in college (though more and against far more talent than Lance, but I digress)

Check em out, with Lamar deciding his idea of playing for the Ravens for his career is quite different than that of the Ravens front office, we might need to draft a qb next April

Well, they agree to disagree

ESPN: Lamar Jackson declined Baltimore Ravens' $250M extension offer, wants deal fully guaranteed at signing, sources say.

Although Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens have kept details of their contract negotiations private, the star quarterback turned down a five-year extension offer worth over $250 million with $133 million guaranteed at signing, sources told ESPN.

The extension, which ran through the 2027 season, would have increased the total value of Jackson's deal to just under $274 million over six years, according to sources. Jackson would have played out the $23 million fifth-year option on his rookie deal before the extension started in 2023.

The extension years in the Ravens' proposal would have paid Jackson a higher average salary than the deals signed this summer by Broncos quarterback Russell Wilson and Cardinals quarterback Kyler Murray and also included more money guaranteed at signing, according to sources.

But sources told ESPN that the Ravens also balked at Jackson's wish for a deal that was fully guaranteed at signing, similar to Deshaun Watson's, prompting the sides to announce Friday that they had tabled contract talks until after the 2022 season

Well, well, well, after denying the Mort report, a little backtracking for Lamar

After the Ravens’ Week 1 victory over the Jets on Sunday, Baltimore quarterback Lamar Jackson was asked if he declined a contract extension offer that featured $160 million in guaranteed money. According to an earlier report from ESPN’s Chris Mortensen and Adam Schefter, Jackson turned down a five-year extension offer worth over $250 million with $133 million guaranteed at signing.

When he was asked by ESPN’s Dianna Russini, Jackson confirmed that he declined an extension offer, but he said the guaranteed money figure was roughly between $160 million and $180 million. When Russini then asked Jackson if he will ride his current contract out all season, he said, “We’ll see

It is worth mentioning that Mort's source was from the NFLPA, now that is bad medicine on their part

He denied the initial report, not the final offer.

Eh semantics, guaranteed money is what he denied, both reports had $250 mil with possibly $265 mil based on incentives.

Either way, he clearly wants, the main point of each report, which he has danced around answering, a fully guaranteed contract.

Malick Willis, a more raw version of Lamar, man that kid is fast, if you didnt get to see him last night. He can throw too, laser for an arm, touch, he is just inconsistent right now...
