vmax
From Pete Prisco's matchups to watch... Titans center C Eugene Amano vs. Ravens nose tackle Terrence CodyThe Titans got little push inside last week against the Jaguars. Amano isn't over-powering at the point of attack, which could be a big problem against Cody. He was fantastic last week against Steelers Pro Bowl center Maurkice Pouncey. He pushed him into the backfield a couple of time. If the Titans want to get Chris Johnson going, Amano has to do a good job on Cody.http://peteprisco.blogs.cbssports.com/mcc/blogs/entry/6315047/32004353 Cool of Pete to notice Cody. Cody's play was overshadowed by Ngatas for obvious reasons but I when the two of then line up next to each other it's a center/guards nightmare. As Cody develops those two will be pocket collapsing fools. Something the Ravens have needed for a long time.
yagersports
Similar to McFarland and Sapp I hope!
colincac
From my viewing I didn't see Cody have a big game last week, hopefully I just missed his play. I don't see him being a huge impact in this game though as CJ likes to stretch, not run up the gut. I'm expecting to see our DLine go smaller as a result. When has he ever shown that ability? He was a 2 down guy at Bama. He will be the same in the NFL. Will he become concussion prone now? He pushes the pocket...he pushes the center and guard back.Now...if teams double him, Ngata can feed off that and pressure/sack the QB. As Cody matures they can run stunts. And if you watch, Cody has speed. He was running down ball carriers. It a good sign in his early development. papasmurfbell
So Saban the devil is to stupid to use him in pass rush situation. I thought he was a great coach.
RavenMad
So Saban the devil is to stupid to use him in pass rush situation. I thought he was a great coach. He did use him in pass rush situations. Hell, he even used him to try and block kicks. He also had to take him off the field a lot because of his weight and conditioning so sometimes it looked like he only played 2 downs. papasmurfbell
Because he was a 2 down DT. That is what he was there. Yes he got in and disrupted the passing game sometimes but so did Goose from time to time. Goose was not a pass rusher though. Neither is Cody.
