OutsideRzAcE Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 ...which means he's likely to see some action in nickel or dime packages. I'm excited to finally see him out there. Props to Cary and Lardarius for holding the secondary together, but that unit is definitely our biggest weakness in an otherwise stellar D. Getting Smith (and Carr who is also practicing again) back will be a big boost. Let's get Jimmy some work this week and then a big dose next week before the big rematch with Pittsburgh. Quote
vmax Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 I'm sure they'll bring him back gradually.Yea...huge props to Webb and Williams. With all the injuries and turnover it's hard to believe the Ravens have the #4 passing defense...#2 as far as TD's scored through the air.But it's true. If Smith can stay healthy and get a lot of game experience, then this will be one tight group and team strength come playoff time. Quote
oldno82 Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Glad to hear Jimmy Smith is back. I haven't seen enough to be definite but he gives me the impression he could be an All-Pro someday. I love his press coverage. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted October 23, 2011 Posted October 23, 2011 Don't even think what you see this yr is what he is. High ankle sprains can take a long time to heal even if you can still play on them. Quote
