tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:00 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:00 PM Run left, missed tackle in the backfield, gain of 6 Sweep right good for 6 Run left for no gain Throw left for a screen, Ad Washington makes a tackle for a loss Quick snap, pass deep into the endzone, White with a great pass break up on Pickens Field goal from 50 is good 18-10 Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:02 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:02 PM Too many mistakes by the Ravens offense for this to be a win, yet despite all of them, with 3:35 there is still a chance. Mitchell returns the kickoff to the 30, another injury, Cane, for the Ravens Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:05 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:05 PM Lamar 10 of 25 for 133 yards 1 pick, though that should not be on him. He has played poorly thus far, refusing to run when given the chance, but he can redeem him self Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:08 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:08 PM Pass is batted down 2nd and 10 Run, just freaking run, he dances around Flowers breaks wide open pass bounces off of his face mask 3rd and 10 Hits Bateman over the middle for 11 My gosh, this is like a playoff game for Lamar Blutz is picked up, hits Likely for 11 Stupid, stupid, fakes a screen pass, tries to run up the middle tackled for no gain 2 min warning Quote

tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:19 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:19 PM 1:06 Run up the middle no gain 1:02 timeout Ravens Fields is in Hamilton is hurt bad Game over Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:21 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:21 PM Too bad, Pit is who we thought they were, not that good. Another game they should have won. Lamar played it like he did the Chiefs in the playoff game. Sure, give him the 3rd MVP, it means nothing if you can't play well in big games Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:22 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:22 PM Tucker Continues to leave points on the field, 6 pts in this game, 23-18 is a victory. The way the defense was playing no way Pitt gets into the endzone at the end to win Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 09:38 PM Author Posted Sunday at 09:38 PM Funny, odd, maybe ironic, the only mistakes made were NOT on defense. The coaches made mistakes: play call, Monken, 2 pt conversion sticks out the most Harbs: choosing to go for a drive backed up on your 10 when your offense is playing like crap with less than 1 minute left in the half, 3 turnovers, one of them, a killer, on said stupid Harbs mistake. Most of the penalties were on offense, some killing promising drives. Special teams, while Stout was excellent punting, a couple of 50 yarders, 1 70 yarder He and Tucker are still costing this team. 2 missed field goals, left Change holders during the bye week, go visit a witch and have her take the hex off of you, stop doing commercials, something because this is kow 3 years of missing left and at this point, something/ someone has to change. This defense, granted against the Steelers, showed that they can play championship caliber defense. But in games when the offense wants to shoot off both of its feet, field goals will be needed to win a playoff game. Lamar, the receivers proved today that they are average at best in big games. Prove me wrong Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Sunday at 09:49 PM Posted Sunday at 09:49 PM So I have now seen this offense against an elite d and a competent offense. It’s not that great. Much like Dallas has been for yrs. A front runner. Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 10:17 PM Author Posted Sunday at 10:17 PM Well, not sure Dallas level, if so this loss will haunt them next Monday in LA. Even with Lamar playing poorly they could have won. Likely doesn't fumble = win Hill puts two hands on the ball when going to the ground = win Henry, who never fumbles, I mean never = win So I won't put this on Lamar Who knows what happens if they ran the correct 2 pt play. This is the league's best red zone team. Not sure what happened there, but if it goes to overtime, I take the Ravens. Wilson was shell shocked. The biggest convern js injuries. Smith, how bad is that hamstring? There is a reason the Steelers started killing this defense over the deep middle when he went out. Hamilton, he reinjured that anckle late in the game. Looked like the pain killing shot finnally wore off. Then Tucker, what do they do? Bring in another kicker? One who can atleast make 45 yard kicks? Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 10:25 PM Author Posted Sunday at 10:25 PM Ad Washington & Hamilton were much better than any other safety combination for this defense this year. Granted, the pocket pressure helped keep the deep passes down. Pickens is good, buf man does he get away with major push offs. He was an issue at Georgia too, got benched often. Glad he is not a Raven. So I hope Hamilton heals quickly. Quote
oldno82 Posted Sunday at 10:39 PM Posted Sunday at 10:39 PM 1) Time to bring in a kicker? Not to cut Tucker, but somebody who is dependable in the 40-45yd range. I think Tucker will eventually straighten out but his play cost us this game and he doesn't seem to be getting any better. Give him some time off. He's costing us games and we're in crunch time now where 3 points can be the difference between winning and losing against playoff teams. Like I said, still a Tucker fan but I think his head is temporarily messed up. 2) Defense played very well today. No big plays against them and Williams and Jackson weren't playing. The secondary was much better and pass rush and run defense played good enough to win. 3) Still too many f---ing penalties. Can't tell for sure if it is on us or the refs but I'm inclined to think it's the former. The game really sucked to boot...I wouldn't have kept watching it if it wasn't our team playing. Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 11:38 PM Author Posted Sunday at 11:38 PM I think Goff took control of the MVP, did younsee his numbers, wow..m Quote

That’s what we paid for letting a lot of talent walk. 3 hours ago, oldno82 said: 1) Time to bring in a kicker? Not to cut Tucker, but somebody who is dependable in the 40-45yd range.
