papasmurfbell Posted Sunday at 08:54 AM Posted Sunday at 08:54 AM There it is. I do not see any players on this team that will do this now. Not a single 1. Turdy has culled everybody with some backbone off. Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 12:41 PM Posted Sunday at 12:41 PM Harbs won a Super Bowl went to the AFC championship game what 3 times. Yeah, bad coach Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Sunday at 02:36 PM Author Posted Sunday at 02:36 PM Without the retirement tour there is no sb. He had the post season acumen with those leaders. It hasn’t been close since 2012. Quote
tsylvester Posted Sunday at 05:54 PM Posted Sunday at 05:54 PM You forget the loss to the Pats that should have been a win if Evans hangs on to the touchdown or a tie & over time if the field goal is made. None of that Harbs's fault. Flowers doesnt fumble, last year ends at the least in another Super Bowl appearence. Look, I am not saying he is a great coach, just that if he wins another Super Bowl, he is in the hall even with his faults in game management. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted Sunday at 11:50 PM Author Posted Sunday at 11:50 PM Evan’s was in the teams with leaders. Don’t take turdy and hid bad game and time mang issues. Yes Evan’s drop was an issue but it was 1 season and not on going. that fumble was far from the only issue last yr. Lamar choking was the vast majority of the issue. Quote
tsylvester Posted yesterday at 01:08 AM Posted yesterday at 01:08 AM 8 road playoff road wins, most in league History, though number 9 looks bleak Quote
papasmurfbell Posted yesterday at 01:11 AM Author Posted yesterday at 01:11 AM I see road v home as meaning far less now than in eras past. Quote
tsylvester Posted 13 hours ago Posted 13 hours ago You do know the qbs and teams in the Harbs era, Brady, Manning, Roethleburger, etc. Not an excuse, evidence of some great teams during his tenure. Wins on the road are tough, you know that, you are being facetious, also finding a qb, a qb who can be the franchise is not easy. He, the team with him, found two in Flacco and Lamar. The team failed Flacco by not building the line, finding difference makers at wide out, save for one magical season. So what did they do? Draft Jackson and build and offense around him. That was Harbs Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago I get who wa around. You do recall the turdy nepo hiring program that had as many unqualified ppl in the coaching team as possible. That is why Joe has a s ol. Quote
tsylvester Posted 6 hours ago Posted 6 hours ago Harbs has his short comings, but with whom do you replace him? Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 6 hours ago Author Posted 6 hours ago Over the yrs I have wanted various ppl. I would love Tomlin. He would absolutely maximize the talent here. I really like Lynn as well. Quote
tsylvester Posted 4 hours ago Posted 4 hours ago Tomlin has been a part of the process that has not been able to find a qb, has drafted problem receivers they have traded away each year for the past umpteenth years. Yes, sure, okay Quote
