I'm in Deep Creek, they are calling for 6-8 here. Not a huge problem but I have been here before when the first snow of the year hits and power can go out.

Where ya staying??? Is the Alpine Village still there we stayed in one of their chalets years ago during a blizzard.

But our last trek up to Deep Creek, we stayed in some mansion on the lake 6 master bedrooms, there were 5 couples that went up, unbelieveable place.

From what I can find Alpine Village is now Lakeside Hotel. We normally stay in a smallish place right across from Wisp but last Saturday, the morning we left, the realtor called us to tell us that because of construction we had to stay someplace else. They set us up in a huge beautiful place, one side faces the lake and the cabin is almost all windows on that side. Really pretty, looks nice in the snow too.
