tsylvester Posted yesterday at 06:27 PM Author Posted yesterday at 06:27 PM Solid team player, very good hands, quick and shifty, no way they trade him. He just needs to work from the slot more, but the Ravens have not used a true burner, like say Walker for what ever reason, on the outside. The more likely trade candidate is Bateman, cheap contract, great hands but he too is a slot guy but he cant seem to stay healthy Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 23 hours ago Posted 23 hours ago You cannot give him a 35 per over 5 yrs. He doesn’t score enough. He is a complete liability in the red zone. He needs lots of space to be useful. If he can’t be here for a reasonable price he is a liability bc he takes resources that can help you elsewhere. Quote
tsylvester Posted 22 hours ago Author Posted 22 hours ago Given the organization's inability to find/develope recievers, one that has come along you hang onto. Bateman has success in the redzone because of Flowers and the tight ends. Quickness is more needed in the redzone than speed. Quote
oldno82 Posted 21 hours ago Posted 21 hours ago I think they'll reach agreement on an extension, but this way the pressure is off for a while. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I’ve seen fast receivers get scores in the red zone. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Zay is at 49th place with 5 tds. That’s is real pedestrian. He is hanging around with Hollywood brown and Gibbs for scores. Not good. Dudes who were part time players have mores scoring. Quote
oldno82 Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago Is that on him or on coaching/play calling? I would also think that bigger sized receivers do better in the red zone than the small, fast guys. Quote
tsylvester Posted 18 hours ago Author Posted 18 hours ago With Comcast still in a passing match with ABC, I had to log onto the peacock to watch... oy Quote

tsylvester Posted 17 hours ago Author Posted 17 hours ago Chiefs gave up a lot for a corner, a handsy corner..... Quote

oldno82 Posted 14 hours ago Posted 14 hours ago I like the pick...just glad he should do very well in a position of need. Now we need a DL and a Center. Quote
papasmurfbell Posted 11 hours ago Posted 11 hours ago I wonder if that ot the Steelers grabbed will translate. On paper he has it all. Quote
tsylvester Posted 8 hours ago Author Posted 8 hours ago Hopefully this psu player will turn out. Nice move, between he and Jones, one of them might be a good right tackle for when Stanley retires and the move over is made.. Quote
tsylvester Posted 7 hours ago Author Posted 7 hours ago Wow, Rams took Simpson, what a surprise, even to their coaches who were; "not amused". While he is in a great system to help him succeed, and has a good mentor in Stafford, they way over drafted him. Quote
oldno82 Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago Yep, the Rams move was a shocker. Seems like a super over-reach to me. Has Stafford said this is his last year? Quote
tsylvester Posted 2 hours ago Author Posted 2 hours ago The way McVay spoke last night/this morning, Stafford is playing for the fore seeable future Quote

The rams won’t be up that high again for the next couple. But Stanford had th3 back last yr. I think they could have traded back a good bit and still got him. Only zona was competition for him. Quote
oldno82 Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Right. If they wanted him that badly, they could have easily traded down and gotten more picks and still gotten him. It was a dumb move and poorly executed as well. Maybe Mcvay outsmarted himself. Quote
