tsylvester Posted 19 hours ago Posted 19 hours ago I cant see any of the others being an issue to sign. Keep rolling Quote
oldno82 Posted 14 hours ago Author Posted 14 hours ago I highly doubt they'll have issues with any of the draftees signing. The slotting system has greatly reduced the possibility of rookies holding out. But do they have to have signed before they can practice? I don't think they do but I'm not sure. I don't remember that happening in the past even for later signers. Quote
tsylvester Posted 8 hours ago Posted 8 hours ago It usually happens with the 1st rounders who want language changes in their contracts, whether fully guaranteed, or work out bonuses. There is a certain point where they have to be signed to practice, training camp, of course, who would practice without getting paid, especially with the risk of injury. Quote
tsylvester Posted 1 hour ago Posted 1 hour ago Even more have signed Per NBC The Ravens have signed almost all of their draft picks ahead of Friday’s start to their rookie minicamp. A flurry of signings on Thursday left them with nine of their 11 picks under contract, including third-round pick Ja’Kobi Lane. The wideout had 49 catches for 745 yards and four touchdowns during his final season at USC. The Ravens also signed fifth-round cornerback Chandler Rivers and sixth-round punter Ryan Eckley in their final wave of agreements. First-round guard Vega Ioane, fourth-round wide receiver Elijah Sarratt, fourth-round tight end Matt Hibner, fifth-round tight end Josh Cuevas, fifth-round running back Adam Randall, and seventh-round offensive lineman Evan Beerntsen are the other picks who have signed their four-year deals. Second-round edge rusher Zion Young and seventh-round defensive tackle Rayshaun Benny are the only unsigned members of the class. Quote
