vmax Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 The media is all "shits and giggles" over the Stealers offense all because of what they did in one game against a soft Charger defense. Rthslxsbrggr's been sacked 46 times this year...that's the truth about his O line. This below average lot is not about to have a good day against the Ravens D. Rushing or pass protecting. The Stealer offense is...not good to tell the truth. 22nd. If they are going to score points Sunday, then the Ravens offense will have to help them by turning over the ball and putting them on a short field. Quote
ravinmaniac52 Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I don't think their line is all that great, Ben has come down a lot since his line isn't that good but they have a healthy rested Parker running the ball. Quote

nattybohfiend Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 I think that many of Big Ben's sacks come from the fact that he holds on ball too long looking for a big play that isn't there. Quote
dc. Posted January 14, 2009 Posted January 14, 2009 My earlier comment on Parker... Against the Ravens he averages 43 yards a game and 3.3 yards per carry in six career games. And in his last four starts against the Ravens (aka since 2006 and Jerome Bettis' retirement) he has averaged UNDER 40 yards a game and 3 yards a carry. I actually think the Steelers putting their faith in him more will HELP the Ravens. Quote

Everyone keeps saying Parker is "peeking at the right time", but we have always had great success against Willie. Bring Wee Willie on! Quote

I dont buy it for one minute that Parker is peeking now.. The Natl megia is stroking his ego, telling him thats the best that they have seen him run all season. Keep stroking his ego..Mr Parker, get ready to meet the wall come Sunday. Quote

Bingo........He holds the ball too long, and then he doesn't roll away from pressure to buy additional time. I think because he has been so big his whole life, he probably never felt the need the roll away as even in the NFL, sometimes the guy just shakes off lineman and linebackers. Quote

vmax Posted January 14, 2009 Author Posted January 14, 2009 vmax, where the hell do you always find these awesome pictures? I love photos...that's from the Sun... I'm not the only one pointing out the weak Pitsburgh offense... But it’s on to the postseason with the worst-ranked offense (22nd) of all playoff teams. It’s on to the postseason with the lowest-scoring playoff team (21.7 ppg) north of Miami (21.6). It’s on to the postseason with an offense that has allowed more sacks (49) than every team but Cincinnati, Detroit and San Francisco. And it’s on to the postseason with an offense that has turned the ball over 25 times. For teams that don’t have the type of championship defense Steelers fans enjoy, those numbers have meant “on to the offseason.” http://www.profootballweekly.com/PFW/NFL/A.../wexell2327.htm Quote
