ForceEight Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 According to AccuWeather.com: 27F at kickoff (6:30 PM). Snowfall persistent throughout the game, but tapering off late. No accumulation expected. Winds WSW at 5-10 MPH. Wind won't be a factor, but moisture, temperature, and visibility definitely will. Oh boy.
vmax Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 ....Wind won't be a factor, but moisture, temperature, and visibility definitely will. Not from my couch. This is why defense and a solid running game wins championships.
thundercleetz Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I would rather have the weather. If both teams are stuck to running the ball, I think we have the advantage (granted how healthy McClain's ankle is). I do not want the ball in Ben's hands.
varaven45 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Yep, we want anything that promotes a brutal running game and eliminates passing. To the weather Gods, gives us a blizzard, baby !
RavensFanNC Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Yeah, I'll be warm and toasty too.....in the stands I'll look like Ralphie's little bother in 'Christmas Story' up there.
XCelR8 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 I love it when Mama Nature comes into play. That is how football should be played. Not in any of those pansy ass domes.
RavensNest8483 Posted January 16, 2009 Posted January 16, 2009 Guys I feel really confident about this game. I know everyone is picking the steelers and were all banged up, but I just think our team is so motivated that they wont allow themselves to lose. Someone will fill in for the injured starters and make a name for themselves ( mcclain, nakumura, zbi, jones etc.) GO RAVENS!!!
