dapetes Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Make it part of his new contract. Let Ray know hes got a job with the Ravens in one capacity or another for a long time.
ravinmaniac52 Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 As much as we all would want Ray to come back as a coach I haven't heard him say that is what he wants to do. Didn't he say he wants to be on TV and movies?
RavensFanNC Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 I know Suggs said he wants to go to hollywood when he's done with the Game... I have been saying this for years. When Ray is too old, let him coach us. Although, I really don't think he is too old yet.
ForceEight Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 He's not ready to be a defensive coordinator. Not yet. It's an interesting proposition, though. I can very easily see him taking a head coaching position anywhere, because he likes to have his hands in everything.
cokedupwerewolf Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Has a player ever gone straight from field to DC? I really doubt it, but he'd easily be welcomed as a LB Coach to start things in that direction.

Spen Posted January 21, 2009 Posted January 21, 2009 Until a player is a free agent I thought other teams were not allowed to talk about signing that player. So I wonder where Dallas's numbers are coming from. Unless a player becomes a free agent as soon as he is done playing that season.

This rumor is stemming from speculation by Gil Brandt on Sirius Radio when he was asked, in his opinion, who could be a potential suitor for Ray Lewis. I heard the segment, PFW took the speculation word-for-word and posted it as a rumor. From there it took off like wild fire. I would not be surprised if this rumor gives Jerry Jones the idea to go after Ray Lewis though.

I don't think Jerry Jones needs to be tempted to go after a veteran FA... he probably has the list of Unrestricted Free Agents taped to his bathroom mirror.
