Posted April 8, 2012 Share Posted April 8, 2012 All the experts were concerned about whether or not Markakis could come back from the surgery he had in January... where was the recognition that the surgery was FIXING a problem that he had been dealing with for more than a year - perhaps as many as 2-3? My first thought when I heard was - "stupid Orioles, took this long"... second thought was, "maybe he'll be able to actually swing now." Markakis has NEVER been an April hitter.
