papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 Midway into the 4th and the stadium is over half empty. What is up with the fan base rolling out on a route? Quote
vmax Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 (edited) I stayed to the end because I took off work today. These Monday night, Sunday night and Thursday night games are killers for the fans who have to get up early for work.I hate them. Now... It was embarasing for the Bengals. The Ravens had their 2's and 3's playing with 10 minutes to go.I've never seen that in a regular season game.It was a slap in the face. What's worse is that Marvin took that slap and brought in his 2's conceding the game.I've never seen that either. You never quit when you are down but the Bengals did.You attack...you fight... papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 Dalton was hurt that last drive of his from what I hear. It is best to concede at that point. I get the late thing but it was a route and the game was ending earlier than normal. Quote

Look Max when you have Anthony Wright at QB and your best WR is an over the hill Marcus Robinson and you're down to Seattle at the half by 4 scores, you don't keep playing. It's not like Wright would be able to just keep throwing the ball up and scoring at will. What's Robinson supposed to do....his best impression of Randy Moss???? Quote
vmax Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 You nailed it yeager! My son and I hung in that game and it was fantastic! At halftime I was feeling down and my son said "We're coming back to win". I'm thinking "Right."Then the Ravens score....we went crazy with each score. Unbelievable but it happened. You never leave early....unless you're in Cleveland. Quote
deeshopper Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 That was an amazing game. I'm so glad I stayed 'til the end of that game. My first time in the nose bleed seats, and it was a blast! Quote
yagersports Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 What a game that was, I had NFL ticket that year, I was in front of my TV going crazy!!!!! Just loving it! Quote
papasmurfbell Posted September 11, 2012 Author Posted September 11, 2012 I sat threw that Seattle game too. It was insane. Quote
vmax Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 We had another game like that...not as bad a hole, but bad enough to say "No way they come back."I think it was the against the 49ers at home. Quote
yagersports Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 My favorite comeback win ever was the first time we beat Jacksonville. Oh man what a game. I thought Banks was the guy for good. Quote

That was the game where my brother and I said Baltimore football is back. The fans went wild for the 1st time ever. They were chanting leaving the game, literally dancing in the street. You could feel the same energy that we had at Memorial Stadium in the days of the Colts. Ravens fans were too much of a "wine and cheese" crowd at games until that win. Never again after that. They showed the Sharpe winning TD play on the big screen last night...same day 12 years ago...9/10/00. Quote
cravnravn Posted September 11, 2012 Posted September 11, 2012 I was in the hospital that game, the nurses at GBMC hate me. I think Im banned from that place Quote
