Anquan Boldin.

In the Super Bowl 6 catches for 104 yards for 17.3 ypc and 1 TD. Several key 3rd down conversions.

For the post season 22 receptions for 380 yards and 4 TD's. That is #1 among receivers.

Don't let your arm get caught in there. It might get ripped out of it's socket.

Of course he caught the ball. Nobody in the NFL fights for a ball better...and comes down with it....time after time.

I'd really love to see us keep him, but it will be so hard. I think he's still got a couple of seasons left in the tank.

I don't know why everyone thinks it will be so hard. True, his cap number this year is hurting but a 3 year extension can quickly sort that out and the cap is expected to jump next year so pushing some of his salary this year into the next couple of years shouldn't be a problem.

Boldin and Leach aren't FAs they both have 1 year left but Q's cap number is $7.5m and Vonta's is $4.3m. If both can be extended it should be done, but cutting Vonta will save $3m and cutting Q will save $6m that is why everyone is talking like they are out the door already.

I expect Kruger to be gone as he likely earned a $10m a year contract from someone. We might have to make the choice between Ellerbe and Reed but I can see Reed being gone as well. At least Ellerbe is young but it would be hard to replace the leadership of both Ray and Ed in 1 offseason. We absolutely can not sign Reed to a similar contract and cap number he was on list season.

The cap is projected to go up in 2014 because of the new tv deal kicking in so if you can push some money back until then it will help retain some of our FAs.

I could also see us taking some risks with our RFAs to save money. Pitta might only see the 2nd round tender instead of a 1st round tender and Arthur Jones would have likely seen the 2nd round tender in most years but the Ravens might use the original round tender with him (5th round compensation). I expect to see Dickson given the original round tender (3rd round compensation). Some other RFAs will be released to FA and maybe brought back at the vet minimum rather than the $1-3m tender prices.

This offseason is going to be spent trying to keep our own guys and maybe signing some vet minimum FAs. It's going to be all about how we draft but the good news is we are expected to get at least a 4th, 5th, 6th and 7th round compensation picks which will really help us fill the holes in the depth chart.

Bingo! No way Boldin is let go. Since Caldwell has taken over he's gone back to being an elite receiver. RavenMAd is right on the mark, Boldin will get a three-year extension that will cut his Cap number by half or more. It is a win-win. Boldin gets a big upfront bonus, we get him under contract for three more years and a lower number this season.
