  1. Ladd, good, very good receiver, great hands, smart player who understands where to go against defenses to get open. Runs well after the catch. However, he has missed numerous games, not finished games because of a back problem. He may have a nice career as a slot receiver, but I would rather that be on another team, let them take the chance that he can stay healthy.
  2. Matos is interesting, 6'7" 350, but raw, really, really raw. Day 3 they say, maybe even an undrafted gem.
  3. The league announced that it found insufficient evidence to punish Flowers, per Espn
  4. Eric on who he thinks will be the next break out player like Brandon Stephens was, was quite telling, perhaps. He said Bateman, that they feel they had too many receivers last year to get him the ball. But they feel comfortable this year with Bateman, Zay, Mark and Isaiah. So, maybe he is telling the truth, and they will NOT, go after a receiver via trade, nor reach for one in the draft. However, this could also be a smoke screen, Bateman is on the final year of his rookie deal, pick up his option or not in a week and a half... Now, Bateman looks great in his work out video, now going on year two removed from the Lis Frank injury, a time when most who suffered this injury usually rebound. Should be interesting.
  5. I wish him the best but he just couldn't stay healthy and he wants to be the feature back.
  6. I don't know that the "quality of player" is that great once you get outside the top 12 or so. Thus, moving up would be, essentially a waste, given how much it would cost to move that high, or even to move up to the mid 20's to nab a player you can essentially get at 30. If anything, I would hope that they move back, gain an extra pick or two if there is nothing obvious about who is there at 30. They lost a lot of free agents, many of them role players, some, special teams players and they need to replace them, cheaply
  7. Texans wiped out part of his contract, per Espn, he will be a free agent at the end of the year if they don't work out a new deal.. quite interesting
  8. That is great news,
  9. Maybe, he is over 30 now, a time when many/most slow down. Without his speed, is he worth paying the last two years of a $90 mil contract? Better to get rid of one a year early than a year late. Maybe, likely the best deal that they could get considering
  10. Is Buffalo in a semi rebuilding mode?
  11. Well, considering what Buffalo just did, wow, 31 mil dead cap hit for pittance in draft picks, ouch. Houston is going to be a problem.
  12. Meh, window, smindow, can Stone continue to play at that level, without the schemes and players to back him? How about Queen, is he that good, that Smith next to him good, with out Smith next to him? A better offensive line, better understanding of the offensive system, more comfortable with it too boot, means the offense will be at least as good, if nor better. They were already one of the top teams in the league in redzone efficiency, at Henry to the back field, yeah let's party. Last year the defense had a number of injuries in the secondary, some, many of those players are not just back healthy, but get to go through an off season where they can rest and train, not recover from surgery. Yeah, call me optimistic about the defense being better, not just as good. So a closed window? Yawn, over speak, dead season speak just to get clicks.
  13. Thanks papa, this is a good draft to fill this team up again with talented youth.
  14. Yeah, he did great here, but no way the Ravens could match that offer. Good for him
  15. And a few more ORLANDO, Fla. -- NFL owners agreed Tuesday to move the trade deadline back one week to the Tuesday after Week 9 and authorized a significant expansion to the league's replay assist program. Three penalty categories -- intentional grounding, roughing the passer and hits out of bounds -- were added to the list of plays replay assist can advise officials on
