By the way that article was a real bummer. Thanks a lot Max!

You could be right. I don't think the Ravens will beat the bengals in cincy so we'd better hope the Steelers can. I think they will have a tough time against the Bengals though. The steelers have been without Ike Taylor since the Ravens game and also their 3rd string corner in Cortez Allen. Polamalu is ineffective right now (pretty much like Suggs due to missing so much time). Bengals should be able to have success thru the air and we know how the Daulton likes to sling it.

It was funny actually. Diefdorf was actually getting frustrated at the ineffiency of the Ravens offense. He genuinely felt bad for the defense.

You cannot get rid of Flacco unless you have a good backup plan. Without a good backup plan we could be AZ. If they get desperate perhaps they look at a guy like Rivers via trade.

I'm for it too, but the country is not ready for this. We have to wait for more attitudes to change and, unfortunately, more people to die. I think the goal for now should be limiting the amount of guns on the streets. Maybe restricitng how many guns people can buy in a period of time, making background checks mandatory for every sale (private or not). I think we may even be one or two generations away from having 90% support for gun control measures like that. Sounds like you went threw some terrifying events earlier in your life. I have come across guns twice in my life. As a highschooler I went to see a couple of movies with a fired at Westview Mall and when we got back into my car a couple of guys opened our doors and one stuck his gun in my lap. They got away with some cash and jewelery. The 2nd incident was a couple of years ago in the inner harbor. We (my wife, my son who was in a stroller at the time, and my cousin) were in one of the pavillion when a couple of kids fired shots about 10 yards away. We just saw a rush of people run towards us (we were waiting for ice cream near the doors). We couldn't get out fast with my son in a stroller so I huddled my familiy in the corner and when everyone had passed we exited. When we left I saw a trail of blood leading out. I won't take the family back to the inner harbor at night anymore. It seems that's when the idiots come out. Like you, niether incident made me want to carry. As I've said before in recent years I have considered buying a gun for family protection, but so far I have opted against it.

You are right, because when this constitution and amendments were written they had muskets that could fire 1 round a minute, not advanced semi automatic pistols and rifles that can spray 100's of rounds in that same time. As DC pointed out, they also had to worry about invasions from foreign countries and governments (War of 1812 for example). There are far too many guns in this country. I was watching a news show yesterday morning and this black friday set a record as far as gun sales. The FBI reported over 150 Thousand background checks on that day alone (up almost 60K from 2008) and that represents just gun sales through avenues that require a background check. You do not need one for a private sale at a gun show or from citizen to citizen. In the past few months I can think of several tragic gun accidents, nevermind the day to day gun violence that happens on street corners of every major city. Man shoots and kills son after responding to neighbors call for help http://www.whptv.com/news/local/story/Man-shoots-own-son-responding-to-neighbors-call/kIAFS0zoQEOuBM7ZlYy2Fw.cspx Man shoots and kills son while purchasing gun http://news.yahoo.com/father-fatally-shoots-son-outside-pennsylvania-gun-store-022116082.html Man shoots and 8 year old girl after mistaking her for a skunk http://www.foxnews.com/us/2012/10/21/costumed-girl-shot-after-being-mistaken-for-skunk-outside-western-pa-party/ Man shoots up car full of unarmed teenagers, killing one after complaining of loud music http://www.theskanner.com/article/Florida-Man-Shoots-at-Car-of-Unarmed-Teens-Killing-One-2012-11-28 Seriously, this is daily life in the US and it's a problem that is getting worse. A lot of these stories don't even register a blip on most people's radars but any one of them would be a national incident in other countries. After Aurora after the temple in Wisconson after the mall in Oregon, after Gabby Gifford and after all these incidents i've listed and countless others I don't even know about, Washington cannot put this on the back burner any longer.

I know the play you are talking about. They showed Decker catch a pass that took him out of bounds then Williams gave him a little extra push. Williams then turned around and started walking away and Decker starting chasing him. The official cut between them and held Decker back. After that they went switched camera angles so they did not show Decker push the official on TV. Dierdoff made a comment about Williams and Decker jawing at each other, but that was the extent of it.

This type of game has happened before under cam. Given the circumstances (against a good defense, right after losing ur o coordinator, without your best o lineman) I think we need a few more weeks before we pin the Os woes squarely on Joe. I grant u this was bad. With the pressure of making the playoffs now off, maybe now the O can figure out how to work under caldwell
-
Not division champs yet.
-
Well it could be worse. NYG got shut out by ATL 34-0
-
Or maybe not if we can't win at least 1
-
Is that Cary Williams or Cortland Finnegan out there?

I can't see how Flacco won't be back next year, but I think we have to definitely draft a QB in the middle rounds this year, even take one earlier if it's good value. With Tyrod Taylor as a backup I don't think Flacco has to look over his shoulder.
-
Directv. It was on local and blacked out on the sunday ticket channel so I thought when they switched games due to the score that it would continue to be blacked out on the sunday ticket channel but it's not. So I'm ok. If that makes sense lol
-
and there goes my coverage
-
Why is Suggs still out there?
-
Once again. Grow up old man
-
Flacco's decision making is bad. Throwing 4 yards on 3rd and 6 down 31 points.
-
Why in the hell did Harbs challenge that. What a stupid challenge.
-
That's not a catch. Flacco has played poorly but his recievers aren't making plays for him either with the exception of that one Jacoby catch.
-
I gave us a 5% chance of winning this game, but I thought we'd lose because Manning would shred our D, not because the Ravens would actually give up more points than they scored on Offense. It's really hard to anticipate what we'll see from this O for the rest of the year. This offense was bad before Cam's firing, and it appears it's going to take some time for them to figure out Caldwell's style and plays.
-
Ravens fall behind by any more points and I'm going to lose coverage of this game.
-
Wonder what's going through Cam's mind right now.
-
Soo....this game is done, but it'll be interesting to see how the Offense responds in the 2nd half. How deflating.
