  1. Wowza, Jets get Rodgers, picks number 15, a 2023 5th Packers get, ready, picks 13, a 2023 2nd, a 6th, a conditional 2024 2nd that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 % of the plays. Per Shefty
  2. And the Ravens might he saying
  3. He will be
  4. Here we go, a week away, who is the Lamar or the Ravens..
  5. I would rather they take a chance on a 6th round receiver, he may go undrafted
  6. Sos, Cards want a 2nd round pick for Hopkins, Ravens have none. But they do have Queen, and say a pick next year? Or maybe a 5th this year? Deal or no deal?
  7. From Shefty, think Lamar would be this team friendly? Hurts' cap hits 2023: $6.15 million 2024: $13.56 million 2025: $21.77 million 2026: $31.77 million
  8. As for Hurts, his deal appears to be heavily back loaded, it will be fun to see the exact numbers when they come out. Very low cap hits the first 2 years,
  9. Just to refresh everyone's memory, the Ravens offered a 5 year deal worth $250 m, $133 fully guaranteed, $273 m counting his 5th year option (making it a 6 year deal) money with incentives to get it to $291m, $175m guaranteed for injuries and a springing guarantee up to $200m. More than Hurts, who went to the Super Bowl FYI Lamar, we know you are reading this... bu-bye Watson contract
  10. And Lamar wants more... wowza what a deal I should add that the Ravens offered Lamar slightly more, which he turned down
  11. Ya know, when I was a kid, if I chose not to eat the meal my mother cooked, I went hungry. When my kids demanded a certain meal for dinner, they got what we cooked or went hungry. I guess Lamar never got the message...
  12. So with the addition of OBJ, I wonder if Lamar is now singing to Eric
  13. 14 is days till draft day, will they trade him for a 2nd or a 3rd? Will he be saying Ross might be back in time, he showed great promise before rhe injury, could be a cheaper and equally talented back to replace Queen... hmmm rumors are (from sports line) the Ravens are already shopping him
  14. There are not many better options left in free agency at the qb position. Sure, some would be better than Huntley, but only in stats, not in wins. Look around, Washington had a very good defense, put up numbers offensively, but lost games because one of those big numbers was turnovers, offensive turnovers. Or sacks, not because their line was bad, but because their qb didn't see the open man before he became open. Huntley's major issue is his lack of arm strength, last season that went haywire, because he hurt his shoulder. Sure, they can groom someone, but Hooker's biggest issue is over thinking at the LOS, a bad sign. He may get over it, he has tremendous potential, but in the end, he always ends up thinking too much, in college, missing the big play that would win the game, or making that mistake that cost them the games.
  15. No way Hooker at 22, maybe in the 3rd if he is there, let someone else draft him, try and develop him. I would wait to see how the top 15 goes, if they right receiver drops below that, trade up to get him. No sense letting another team step in and grab him as has happened before. If the right corner is there at 22, speed, size, instincts, grab him. This team is nicely put together with only a few holes, they don't need to draft 10 players, they need to hit on 3 of 5 or better. It would be better to trade forward into the 2nd from later round draft picks. Wait, never mind, they usually miss on 2nd round players
  16. Here is to hoping the brain trust has When it comes to wide outs
  17. Well, 16, OK, 15 & 1/2 days until the draft... Let's get this party started, who ya got?
  18. So they signed his cousin, then his best friend, fired fired his oc, hired one that is an offensive innovator, all at his request. Made him an offer that would make him the 2nd highest paid qb in league history (for now), please tell me how they a) don't value him & b) don't care about him?????? Crickets and peppers
  19. Welp, Todd knows how to scheme plays to take advantage of a player's talent, the only 2 questions are; will Lamar see the openings & throw on time, on target & 2) will OBJ be healthy enough for most of the season...
  20. I understand their desire for better wide outs, but the guy is an often injured malcontent, not what this team needs. Maybe this was to placate Lamar, they are friends. Oy
  21. Crap, the Ravens have OBJ. 1 year up to $18 mil according to Espn The new deal reportedly includes a $13.835 million signing bonus, a $1.165 million base salary and $3 million in incentives
  22. Hey, as fans all we can do is cheer & say
  23. Thankfully it is a young team, with not many holes to fill. They need quality over quantity.
  24. Ah the agonizingly boring time 20 or so days before most drafts, more so now with the questions surrounding Lamar, will he be traded, to whom, for how much? Will the Ravens then draft the next leader of offense? Which one? Where, 4, 14, 22, later? Will he stay with the Ravens, if so, will they then draft a wide out at 22, trade it down for more picks? We all just want to know
  25. Man I love an overcomer, Stetson was just that, pure determination got him back to back championships. I think he will be a very good back up qb, for a few years given his age, his height. While he is a quick twitch, quick release qb with excellent vision, I can't see him being any more than a backup. As far as arm strength for Tune, while it is true, he does not have the strongest arm, six passes, air yards, of over 40 yards tells the tale as they say. It is strong enough.
