  1. Yippie Robinson goes before(well) the Ravens could be tempted, to the Falcons at 8
  2. Pick is in at 8 for the Falcons so sure, let's go to commercial. Man, the draft coversge used to be so great. Then they got full of them selves, out priced them selves... should get worse next year after another round of layoffs at Espn
  3. Raiders take Tyree Wilson, defensive end, nice pick, if not a few spots early
  4. Cards trade up to 6th, give Lions the 12th and 2nd round pick, 34 So that they can take Ohio St offensive tackle Paris Johnson jr
  5. Colts, wow, take Richardson at 4
  6. Cards get the 12th pick plus 2023 second (No. 33), 2023 third (No. 73), 2024 third
  7. Wow Houston is nuts, trade up from 12 to 3 when you already have your pick for a qb (CJ).. just to take a smallish rush end who can only beat tight ends? Anderson might be the most over rated defensive end/olb in a long long time
  8. Well, it was less guaranteed than he asked for, more than the Ravens offered. Now, how is is structured? 52 bills per is a lot of cap, I was hoping for a 7 year deal to lower that number but I guess Lamar was fixated on the per year as much as the guaranteed. Maybe this will help him take the job more seriously, eat right to avoid the IBS issues he seems to face each year that keeps him out of practice. Maybe more study to ensure he is ready to face the next defensive system he faces and so that he knows the plays so as to not hold up the play clock..mmmmm
  9. Guess it means hippidie hoppidie, Hop is on the way
  10. Wow, head shake, wow, no wonder my psiatica is acting a fool with a hot metal rod & spikes Jackson's deal is worth $260 million over five years with $185 million guaranteed, according to CBS Sports NFL insider Josina Anderson. This makes Jackson the league's highest-paid player with an average annual salary of $52 million. It puts Jackson just ahead of Eagles quarterback Jalen Hurts, who recently became the league's highest-paid player after signing a five-year, $255 million extension. The guaranteed portion is second-best to Deshaun Watson's $230 million in his deal with the Browns
  11. If they get Hop, and Lamar signs, and this goes sideways, doesn't work, the front office will have to be fired. Now I am not saying Super Bowl or bust, they aren't the Jets right now, where if Rodgers doesn't produce a championship in the next year or 2 it is a failure. But this team, sans injuries, with those additions would have to have a run deep in the playoffs each of the next what, 3 years, or it will be a failure. Or if this offense doesn't take off because of Lamar....
  12. Depends on the trade price. What's their motto, right player, right price. If they do trade for him, I would expect Lamar to sign shortly there after
  13. Twas the night before the draft, what will the Ravens do? Will they keep the pick and make me happy, oh and you too? Will they trade Lamar Jackson, for peanuts and a little more? Will they draft a wide receiver who can catch the ball and score? So many ways for this draft can go, some will make us squirm, but no matter what happens, Eric has the final word.
  14. They clearly know he is worth what the Ravens offered and not much more. Will that change Friday or Saturday? Perhaps. Jets are clearly thinking Super Bowl or bust this year, anything else and Bob's your uncle, they clean house in the front office. I would not be surprised if they drafted a qb with their top 15 pick
  15. Wowza, Jets get Rodgers, picks number 15, a 2023 5th Packers get, ready, picks 13, a 2023 2nd, a 6th, a conditional 2024 2nd that becomes a 1st if Rodgers plays 65 % of the plays. Per Shefty
  16. And the Ravens might he saying
  17. He will be
  18. Here we go, a week away, who is the Lamar or the Ravens..
  19. I would rather they take a chance on a 6th round receiver, he may go undrafted
  20. Sos, Cards want a 2nd round pick for Hopkins, Ravens have none. But they do have Queen, and say a pick next year? Or maybe a 5th this year? Deal or no deal?
  21. From Shefty, think Lamar would be this team friendly? Hurts' cap hits 2023: $6.15 million 2024: $13.56 million 2025: $21.77 million 2026: $31.77 million
  22. As for Hurts, his deal appears to be heavily back loaded, it will be fun to see the exact numbers when they come out. Very low cap hits the first 2 years,
  23. Just to refresh everyone's memory, the Ravens offered a 5 year deal worth $250 m, $133 fully guaranteed, $273 m counting his 5th year option (making it a 6 year deal) money with incentives to get it to $291m, $175m guaranteed for injuries and a springing guarantee up to $200m. More than Hurts, who went to the Super Bowl FYI Lamar, we know you are reading this... bu-bye Watson contract
  24. And Lamar wants more... wowza what a deal I should add that the Ravens offered Lamar slightly more, which he turned down
  25. Ya know, when I was a kid, if I chose not to eat the meal my mother cooked, I went hungry. When my kids demanded a certain meal for dinner, they got what we cooked or went hungry. I guess Lamar never got the message...
