Nice call papa, we knew the defensive line was struggling at times to stop the run, well, the dam broke last night. Cant win em all, but you should win the ones that you can. 7 sacks? Really? This line is currently terrible, as bad as the defensive line is at run stoppimg. Can't run consistently, can't pass block. Can't finger one of them, because they all had issues last night. Maybe it is the oline coach? Experts say that we have one of the best centers in the game. That Rose is a very good right tackle and Stanley is solid if not old. Our guards, well, they too struggle even though the coaches say these are the best we have? Are they blowing smoke or do they really believe this? Do we have to wait until week 6 to see the Real Team, again? Is this jusjust par for the course on slow starts or are lines on both sides of the ball that bad? Yes, Henry fumbled again, at our 20, led to a field goal, killed momentum. This team should be good enough to overcome a turnover, especially when it only costs 3. 2 90+ yard drives, unacceptable when it is the other team. They kill defenses. That is how you give up 426 yards in total offense, 224 rushing The Ravens only got 85 yards on the ground; huh? No sacks, a handful of pressures early. Nothing to get Goff off of his first read, nothing from Orr or the players. I saw guys backing into the back field, only to have the running back run by. Had they been facing him, tfl. Orr redeemed himself last year, but once again here were are, a defense that can't get turnovers, cant pressure the pocket, cant stop decent, okay good offenses, only old quarterbacks who can't run...

Ravens scored 40 pts in each of their 1st 2 games. The Lions defense is good, as good as the Browns? I think not. Lamar is great on Monday nights, fantastic against the NFC, Henry was bottled up last game; I pity the fools
-
Senseless speculation because the Ravens are being so coy about his neck injury, similar to how they were this coy about injuries to other players in the past who ended up being out for the year. In any even, while he is a very good player, he is not one to keep the team from winning. They have cap room to get another fat body, they have another big body on the ps albeit inexperienced

The slppy play this weekend, wow, balls taking away mid run, extra points and field goals blocked, penalties abound. Yes papa, looks like last week was just Wilson buring out brightly like a light bulb about to go out.
-
Pats tie it up, miraculously, they go for it on the 4th downs and make them, then a play or two later fumble the ball. 5 turnovers so far...
-
Stiller defense is terrible, they keep getting bailed out by penalties and a bad offense. The Pats should be killing them, but they are currently down 7 at the 2 min warning of the 1st half
-
Chuck Clarke just dropped his 2nd pick of the game.....
-
If is the biggest word in the dictionary, I think they will tey to set up the run with the pass early on. Then in the 2nd half if they have the lead, lean heavily on the run game to shorten the game.
-
Madds officially ruled out per Espn, neck injury, pesky stingers
-
It's all gonna come down to pressure on the pocket. Can the Ravens, sans VanNoy, get consistent pressure on Goff? Can the Ravens give Lamar time to throw?
-
Initial injury report from Helmsley Isaiah Likely (foot) was limited for 2nd straight practice -Four starters DNP: CB Nate Wiggins (groin), DT Nnamdi Madubuike (neck), OLB Kyle Van Noy (hamstring) and FB Pat Ricard (calf) -CB Marlon Humphrey (groin) was full participant
-
Hamstring for Van Noy, out Humphrey has a groin, no word yet that I've seen as to his status for rhe game
-
Age catching up to him perhaps
-
In the past the Ravens were able to stifle their run, make them one dimensional. Then, collapse the pocket, Goff moves well with in the pocket, but he is no Lamar nor Josh.
-
While the Bills had juet over 100 yards rushing in their game, they only averaged 3.4 yards per. The Browns, however, had success running the ball, but then they usually do against the Ravens but never really stick with it. In this past game, 115 yards rushing, just over 5 yards per carry, granted some of that was at the end when the game was over. But they still seemed to get 4+ most times when they ran in the first 3 quarters. Detroit can run the ball, that very well could be their answer, if, they can stop the Ravens from scoring.

This I did, I suppose it all depends on what their record and standing are when his big toe is ready for market
-
They have, Swartz that is, has always had a philosophy on stopping great running games, great backs. He run blitzes almost every down and if it is a pass, so beit, keep crashing the pocket. He plays his linebackers a skewed so that the guards cant naturally get to the, making getting to the back before he gets a head of steam, much easier.

Ugh, another night game, this time on Monday night. Yes, get off my lawn, I'm too old for this! Actually, I don't mind the neighborhood kids tossing a ball into my yard, I enjoy tossing it back to them and showing them how to properly throw a ball...but I digress The Lions had a bounce back week, the destruction of the Bears. The Ravens, after a heart breaking loss in week one that was a total team collapse, they had a complete team victory that saw every side of the ball score,: bout time eh? Which defense shows up this week is anyone's guess, were they that good against the Browns because the Browns are that bad on offense? What about this vaunted Ravens rushing attack that put up over 200 yards on the ground week one, but could barely muster 45 on the ground in week 2: was the Browns defense that good or did the Ravens just underestimate them? In 2023 when the Ravens met the Lions, it was a simple beat down for Baltimore, winning 38-6. Yes, the high flying Lion offense was shot down by the stingy Ravens defense. Will that happen again? Will this game be more reminiscent of the week one game with the Bills where the last team with the ball wins in a high scoring affair? Who knows at this point, do you? Who ya got?
-
Did you see the list for qbs who will be out this week? Ridiculous
-
Maybe, Browning has weapons to work with, in 23 when he filled in for Joe, completed 70% with 12 td and 7 picks, 1900 yards in 9 games, no too shabby
-
Toe surgery, guess the manny/pedi went too far https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/46268673/sources-bengals-joe-burrow-needs-toe-surgery-3-months
-
Apparently he was a healthy scratch for this game
-
Keller had a pass, at the goal line, go through his hands, bounce off of him and go right into the hands of the defender. More crazy plays today throughout the league, than I can remember in any one day, ever
-
Missed all of training camp, first game of the year got torched. Sat out the 2nd game of the year, yes, still have time to prove me wrong, but so far, bad signing

1:50 left in the game Steelers lost 31-17 Kickoff is to the 8, Wallace returns it to the 28 of Baltimore 1:44 Ravens taking a knee Defensive touchdown, special teams blocked punt that lead to 7 Offense scored touchdowns in the 2nd half Not very good running, infact, horrible. No matter how good that Browns defense is, to get so little on the ground is pitiful. Defense played better, but gave up too much on the ground, but the pass rush was spectacular. It was because of it, largely, that the coverage was so much better. But Humphrey had to keep his head, lucky the flag was picked up on the late hit on Joe. Also, catch the ball, jeepers, that was 7 pts because you didn't. The line by , large was horrible, pass protection was spotty and none of them could run block.
