  1. Wow what a game, heroic effort by Mahomes, tremendous effort by Hurts, that fumble Hurt... Hats off to the lines of the Chiefs, no sacks, 158 rushing yards for the offense. Their defensive line shut down, for the most part, the Iggles running game.
  2. Why yes, Lamar certainly is....
  3. True but many think he is only good because of Andy. He doesn't get free rein in KC to call plays. Much like Leftwich in Tampa, highly thought of but only good with training wheels. So by changing teams, becoming a true OC, teams will see him
  4. Yeah, could be packing his talents to take to the next team he plays for.... Who knows with his ig posts. He knows what he is doing is driving people, the media nuts with these shenanigans, bravo
  5. Yep, he would vault to the top of the head coach lists
  6. Monkton would be my first choice, he has little desire to be a head coach. Bieniemy would be my second choice, though he likely, if/when successful away from Reid, would then be a head coach candidate.
  7. Per Shefty, and makes some sense Would be nice
  8. Iggles run the ball well, Chiefs not so good against the run. Chiefs offensive line not that good, Iggles can pressure very well with 4. Yes, it appears the Iggles should win this running away, especially if Mahomes is not fully healthy. But, if Hurts still hurt, is the biggest question
  9. Well far better for us old time Raven marauders to follow rules
  10. Man that was so good, highly recommend it, as it is the one thing, 30 for 30, that ESPN does well any more.
  11. Will it be this week? Will it be next? Will the Ravens choose the best? Who will they choose, who will it be, to bring this offense into this century..
  12. The only one I don't understand is Outten, one year in the oc position for a team that way under performed offensively, that with a "hall of fame" qb... not much coaching experience beyond that, that would make him a viable choice.m Give me Monkton palease..
  13. They don't know what they have in Ridder.
  14. Or the cryptic posts, especially the one right after the loss. I agree with you, his immaturity has been on full display. As for traveling, it has been suggested that the team doesn't allow injured players to travel, but I've found no proof of this. Add in his proclaiming his injury is worse than reported before the game, yet we've seen him on the sidelines at home games jumping around, having fun with his teammates, one has to wonder. I also wonder if maybe he made the injury worse by jumping around, maybe that is why after 6 weeks it was not just healed, but made worse? So many questions, answers we, the fans will never get. His teammates know the truth, I guess that is all that matters in the end.
  15. Surprise, oops he did it again...
  16. Well, he did manage to turn Gino's around
  17. A lot of it can be over looked because of bad advice in his camp. Maybe he will see the light and get some better people around him? I'm torn, you look at his numbers and wow, it is hard to say let's walk away. Factor in a new passing scheme and maybe his numbers get better. Now, no way i give any quarterback a fully guaranteed contract, not even Mahomes. So yes, if he doesn't come down, he can walk the plank.
  18. Well, New Orleans just got a first round pick this year, plus a 2nd round pick next, they need a qb. Though their first rounder is 30.. not good enough. Texans with their new coach have 2 top 12 picks, but will they want Lamar after getting rid of Watson? Falcons, Colts, etc.. Will it take a first round pick plus a top player at a position of need and some lower picks? Will it take multiple first round picks this year? One this year and next? Some serious decisions for Eric & company.
  19. Yeah, I don't think they will move much off of that $250 mil, $133 guaranteed, maybe to 140, 145. But I also don't think Lamar is going to come down from his stance of wanting the full contract guaranteed. So for me there are only 2 options left, tag & hope he shows up to learn the new offense in time. Or tag and trade. With what Pollard has said he told Lamar, and Rg greed, I doubt Lamar shows up after he is tagged until the start of the season
  20. Well, they can always place the tag, then work out a deal. They just have to place the tag by then.
  21. It was proposed, but not passed
  22. Salary cap set, now we know the real cost of the tags. NBC Sports: With salary cap in place, franchise and transition tag amounts for 2023 are known. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2023/01/30/with-salary-cap-in-place-franchise-and-transition-tag-amounts-for-2023-are-known/ Per multiple reports, the franchise tags are as follows: Quarterback: $32,416,000. The transition tag provides only a right to match, with no compensation. The transition tags are as follows: Quarterback: $29,504,000 The window for applying the tags opens on February 21 and closes on March 7.
  23. Ya have to be leary of OSU qbs... not sure about Dk, always seems to be hurt
  24. Chargers are off of the list of teams in need, Kellen Moore has been inked.
  25. OK, traded away one of the best receivers in the game. Lost a few others during the game. Yet Mahomes still completed over 60% of his passes for over 300 yards, with 2 tds, no picks (1 fumble) and most importantly his team won. So why do the Ravens need one of the best wide outs in the league? I know, I am screaming for one to be drafted in the first round. But you know my stance, as my aon in law says, I will die on this mountain that the system is more important than the players in said system. My final proof is the KC Cheifs are in the Super Bowl with 2 cast off possession receivers, 2 often injured average receivers and a great tight end.
