  1. Huge sack, Queen and company
  2. The crowd must have frozen wind pipes, they are not very loud
  3. If you saw all of the upsets yesterday in college ball, you know how important it is to take away any hope the lesser teams might have
  4. Time for the defense, let us see what they can do, knock off the rust
  5. Proche drops one, a five yard gain for an 8 yard need. Lamar is off target so far
  6. Andrews tries to pull a Beckham, no dice. I really love what Robinson is brining to this team. Seems he might be renewing his career, he is a keeper
  7. Robinson for 23!
  8. Awe man, Richard drops an easy one, saw the endzone... man down field so it would have come back any way
  9. Man those shadows are rough, nice play by Lamar to Andrews
  10. Wow, Ravens win the toss & take the ball... here we go
  11. Finally, a Sunday game for Ravens fans! Man it seems as if it has been forever since we had a day game! Bundle up, it is gonna be cold and windy!
  12. Oops, apparently Lamar is a new daddy, his significant other had their second child on Friday.
  13. Lamar sick, again, on a Friday, should play. Have to watch what you eat..... I really wouldn't mind seeing Huntley this week, with all of the starters on offense and defense, see what he can do....
  14. Yeah, I don't think the Ravens would have made the trade just to rent him for one season. They seen too many injuries over the past few years to know the risk of a rent a backer to get to and win the Super Bowl would be utterly stupid. So I expect them, knowing his $number, to work out a deal.
  15. Try this article https://www.nfl.com/news/next-gen-stats-top-10-nfl-deep-passers-of-2021-three-qbs-playing-for-new-teams-i
  16. Here is an excellent site for easy cap salaries. They break it down for everything, bonuses, dead cap hits if cut. Frankly I wish this site was around back when I was writing, would have saved me a ton of time https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/baltimore-ravens/cap/2023/
  17. That is a great question. I used to be well versed in capology, so I know that there is a way to get them both done. It all depends on if both players are willing to work the money in a way that is cap friendly. They both want to be paid tops at their position, $20 mil per year for Smith, $45 per year for Lamar or there abouts. The Ravens have never really been ones to get very tricky woth the cap, one reason that they are always right around even with the cap every year. Frankly, it used to drive me nuts, but then we have two Super Bowl wins in 20 years or so...
  18. Oh I know he can. His ability to stop the run, to read keys, will help our favorite underperforming linebacker to reach his full potential, be a blitzing nightmare for offenses. This in turn will help the secondary, which will light a fire under all of them.
  19. Take their hope right from the start plain & simple. They are looking for a reason to quit, to do their own thing and earn a big contract somewhere else. I was hoping, coming into this week there would be an announcement that the Ravens & Smith had agreed on a new contract...the bye week is a great time to take care of that end of the business, guess not. So, use this game as a stepping stone, build chemistry, work together, get the timing and accuracy down. Let us fans cheer you on and relax in the 4th, for once this year....
  20. The Bill's made a huge mistake going for 2 with 10 minutes left in the game, up by 10. You don't put a game away with that much time left, take the field goal, the positive reward for a nice drive, go up 13. Yes, still two scores, but at least they need to make 2 extra points to beat you on a windy, cold night. Maybe you go for 2 with 8 mins left, for sure with 5 mins, then you put a game away by going up 17. As a result, a turnover, a positive play for the other team even if they were going to get the ball back on a turnover on downs. Dallas made a similar mistake not taking the field goal, in over time, sure 52 yards in the cold in Green Bay, not easy, but better than that choice of plays...
  21. True, but use Google
  22. The goofy graph at the top is for deep ball passing, minimum of 14 passes
  23. Josh Allen, 2 picks, both in the redzone, one ends the game in ot. One fumble, on his goal line, that gives the Vikes the lead with 40 seconds left in the game. 4 redzone picks in the last 2 games... food for thought
  24. Holy crap, turned the Bill's game on just for shots & giggles. Wow, what an ending to the game! Perhaps the best ever.
