  1. That's better, hope Humphries can stay healthy with that groin
  2. Big bite on play action, opens up the middle
  3. Yes, Lewis used to get taken down by a blade of grass and, was not a very good receiver
  4. Once again they fail to set the edge...
  5. Duv! 103 yards touchdown!
  6. Eh semantics, guaranteed money is what he denied, both reports had $250 mil with possibly $265 mil based on incentives. Either way, he clearly wants, the main point of each report, which he has danced around answering, a fully guaranteed contract. Malick Willis, a more raw version of Lamar, man that kid is fast, if you didnt get to see him last night. He can throw too, laser for an arm, touch, he is just inconsistent right now...
  7. Hill and Waddle Excell in crossing routes, also something the Ravens often fail to cover properly. Why? Because the linebackers always bite on play fake and don't get deep enough drops. Deep drops by linebackers take away those crossing lanes... Even with the injury/loss of Fuller, the Ravens have the secondary, especially at safety, to make it difficult for Tua, especially if the backers do their jobs properly
  8. There was a time when teams were afraid to play here, they knew they were going to be punished by the Ravens & their fans. Some how, that fear has gone, how field advantage is no longer here in Bmore. Shoot, I remember sitting behind the Steeers bench harassing the heck out if their punter, Josh something or another. That if he kicked to Jermain Lewis, Lewis would run right by him. Sure enough that harassment worked, he kicked a low line drive punt right to Lewis, who returned it for a touchdown. Josh switched ends of the bench We need to win this game, for many reasons...
  9. Well, well, well, after denying the Mort report, a little backtracking for Lamar
  10. Based on history and this line still working kinks out, gonna be a long day for the Raven faithful, may be best to sit and watch the shapes of the clouds. Phins, big
  11. Torn acl per report.. Such a shame, a new start for him in this secondary, in his home town could have been special
  12. That's on Queen and Harrison, as usual
  13. They controlled it enough and remember, they were still missing a player or two. I really enjoyed watching them attack the pocket, now if they can sustain that for a full game....
  14. The defense I will give a pass for the most part. With the offense unable to sustain drives, kill the clock in the 2nd half and the big lead, it made sense to just play blanket, let them complete passes to keep the clock moving. Those were junk yards mostly and the lack of depth right now, till some get healthy, the defensive line was running out of gas, so little to no real pressure. But you are correct, unless this offense can get moving, hold onto the ball, this team will be blown out by the good teams. Shoot, if the Jets had a decent line, this game might have been a loss...
  15. There was some bad football played Sunday, league wide. The new practice rules, the philosophy on preseason games, poor coaching, players not taking practices seriously, maybe all of the above. But it was just a lot of sloppy play, including from the Ravens. Sure they won, yes, we had a few deep, exciting plays, However, ill-timed penalties, poor decision making, even getting a play called in, in time, we more prevalent. Let's hope the rust gets shaken off quickly, or this could be a long, ugly season.
  16. It's just amazing, watching these other games, how defenses are backed off, respecting the passing games. Compared to when the Ravens face a defense, it's all packed in, 8 in the box, safeties ready to close on the los..Los... The only way to back them off is to be successful in both pass blocking and connecting on deep routes. With that said, Roger's looks like he needs another Schroon or two...
  17. Ravens win, ugly, but they win... 2 major injuries.... Cincinnati tied it up, despite 4 into by Burrow...
  18. Ha, he missed the extra point,
  19. Wow, they give up a late score, maybe now the Ravens offense can kill the clock, 1 min left
  20. 4th and 15, and they give up the 1st down
  21. Florida has a defensive tackle, 6'-5", 420 lbs. He and Pearce together would cover an entire offensive line! Man, that sacks for Fuller, looks season ending, this secondary is cursed
  22. Fuller is hurt on the play
  23. Pearce has had a great day
  24. Dial up a blitz, get the sack, holding on Fuller negates the play.. 2 min warning Good thing this game is out of hand.. sloppy play from the entire team
  25. Poor choice to throw leads to a pick.... bad, bad decision
