  1. So do the Ravens go for a big shot say at tight end out of Florida in the first round, or maybe a real pass rusher? Do they sit back, see who drops? There are a number of really good wideouts coming in this draft, but given the teams inability to draft them, should they give up? Do they trade back, build up picks for 2022?
  2. The receivers all run crossing routes or go routes, or posts/flags... Did you notice the only comeback route run was when Trace was qb? They can't run double moves because the line does not hold up long enough, AND, Lamar rarely throws a comeback route. So db's can sit on crossing routes, keep the safeties in the middle part of the field and single cover on the outside. All of that limits the plays, the route combinations that can be run thus stunting Lamar's numbers and the momentum of the game; quick strikes. Allen gets to throw those routes, which gives his receivers an advantage with the double move available. He is accurate enough so his numbers go up, especially with those routes he is able to move a safety playing on or outside the numbers, a step or two; big adavantage. Until Lamar proves that he can throw outside the numbers consistently, he will limit this offense. Right now, Allen has made the biggest improvement and earned his money while Lamar has not to this point. Baker is slowly coming around, but he has not been consistent enough to warrant the big pay day. There is a reason no running first qb has ever won a super bowl, Kaep came close but he was helped by the NFL with that power outage.
  3. Some players had a pseudo bye week(s) so they will come in with fresh legs. This could be key to victory... However, the secondary is banged up, the pass rush has fizzled and Cleveland has a very good offensive line with a mobile, very, qb who throws well on the run. Add to that a good crop of receivers, I see the Browns getting revenge..sadly....
  4. Thanks, you can teach an old dog a new trick. Figured it out, but the file is too large to upload....
  5. Firefox, they updated around the same time so it could be them
  6. I don't know how to do a screen shot. There is a lot of wiggle in the page left to right, topics that have multiple pages are threaded up and down all jumbled up. Maybe it is just my phone. Ill have to fire up the old beast of a pc tomorrow and see..
  7. I watched the first half, then had to go to bed so recorded the 2nd half. First thoughts, they won a game they were supposed to win. It was clear this team has not practiced or had not had many practices, offense, defense, special teams had their brain farts. Overall, I think even with the injuries, and players coming back from injury, this team got stronger, better as the game went on. That defensive stand late in the 4th, at the five, the goal line was impressive. Ok, Dallas scored on 4th down but wow. This was a get healthy, get playing shape ready practice game that counts game and they did what they needed to do.
  8. The Giants beating the SeaHawks, the Redslurs beating the Squeelers, better be a wake up call for the Ravens....... I dunno about this one.....m
  9. That is awesome, our God is faithful
  10. Could not agree more, he is quicker and faster than ROHG, and while his arm is not as strong, ROHG has shown even healthy he is not an NFL qb any longer... My prayers are with you, your son and family 82,
  11. Very well thought out & said. I would agree, normally this team plays down to their opponents or, as you said, after a hard fought tough loss, they play a dead man's game. Yes, I think alot of that is Harbs... However, I think this time might be different; yes pandemic game vs a hard fought loss game. This team had many back up to the back up players playing, & playing very well too boot. These were not just fill-ins for special teams or a tackle here a db there, these were almost complete lines, key positions. I think that makes the difference. Sure it was one game, sure, a big game as well, but this team found out a lot about its self; players thought to be practice squad can play at a high level. Look at center- so many issues, not just snapping but blocking as well all season; worked very well in the Pit game. With the pressure on the linebackers because the defensive line was so thin, Queen, Harrison, Forte played very well, even with another lucky floating pass getting through...rrrrrrrrrr Dallas is the perfect game; a good team playing very badly. They have talent, they just are not playing up to it. Even if Trace has to play instead of Lamar, this offense can "get their groove back", this defense can dominate without a let down in the 4th quarter. Sure, Trace does not have the strongest arm, but he is quick, has a quick release, and has good touch on his throws when needed. Hey, we saw a deep comeback route not just thrown, but completed!!!!!
  12. Are you monkeying around with the board graphics? I access the site on my phone, android, and for the past week the board has been all jumbled up. Just curious if it's my phone or not.
  13. Max, I don't stay up to watch night games any more, sleep as I've said is more important. However, I am very curious to see how this team rebounds against Dallas. While curiosity killed the cat, a little lost sleep next week won't hurt me.... There is clearly reason for optimism in this team moving forward, 5 loses, 4 of them winable with one less mistake, yeah, bring it baby....
  14. Can they though? We saw the same mistakes cost them this game as we saw all season so far in games that they were prepared. Every game save the KC game was winable if not for the mistakes of turnovers, penalties, especially presnap, poor clock management and poor decision making. We "can" over look it for this game, so many practice sqaud, third string players in the game. A qb who is better suited for broadcast than for playing... But they were the same mistakes as the starters made, including dropped touchdown passes... With that said, I don't want to diminish the way the team fought with no depth, for 4 full quarters. This was a winnable game for 3 quarters, one of them scoreless! So how do they respond? Dallas next week, a get healthy game no doubt, one that should be won convincingly. Then a short week to play a good Browns team.... The Ravens cannot afford to keep making the same mistakes week in & week out.
  15. Wow, what a defensive performance by our Birds; just wow
  16. The queation is; will Tucker be the only scorer or will this be a shut out?
  17. It's gonna be as entertaining as a soap opera, tis why they put the game on at the same time as that junk....
  18. Like watching a car accident, neck benders cause backups; in this case, the backsups are going to cause our necks to bend......
  19. Yep, that was him, unreal, people are dying, young athletes may suffer lasting heart issues and this team barely has enough players to field a game team. He wants to paint a rosey picture? Jeepers
  20. It's just ridiculous, I heard a local sports reporter try to "put a positive spin" on this game. How the players who can play can make a name for them selves, step up. Please, this is worse than a preseason game 4 line up, at least you had plenty of players. This game, 11 on offense, 11 on defense, 11 on special teams, that is 33 players. One below those on the roster who can play. One injury then what? At least college has the right idea, no game if you can't field a competitive team.. Forfeit or postpone and make an extra week to play these games.
  21. The Broncos wanted to use a coach to play qb, the league said no. They care so much for their players they are going to let teams use players not ready for the NFL or playing an unfamilier position; both of which can & will cause injuries. Who cares about the product on the field right? Or about player safety, so long as they get their money from advertisers....
  22. Ravens have 2 qbs, 6 oline, 3 dline left on thr active & practice squad roster for the game Tuesday.. Oy
  23. 6 more for the Ravens, 18 total. Could be worse, Broncos have all of their qbs out as of an hour ago....
