  1. Yeah, he supposedly met with Flores and the owner prior to Flores being fired. Flores said he left the meeting so as not to bring collusion into the mix. Now a Boston reporter is saying the Phins are trying to trade for Brady... Claims an inside source....
  2. It's certainly interesting, now the rumor about Brady heading to Miami resurface. This has certainly been when of the wackiest off-seasons by far
  3. I wonder if Flores would have pushed for Watson, or would have given the green light to trade all of those picks for a wide out... Did Miami push this hard to build the team through free agency to show that they didn't order a tanking?
  4. In other news, I've got to go P!
  5. Wow, The Kansas City Chiefs are trading six-time Pro-Bowl wide receiver Tyreek Hill to the Miami Dolphins for five draft picks: a 2022 first-round pick (No. 29), second-round pick (No. 50) and fourth-round pick, plus fourth- and sixth-round picks in the 2023 draft, sources told ESPN on Wednesday The Dolphins are giving Hill a four-year, $120 million extension, including $72.2 million guaranteed, agent Drew Rosenhaus told ESPN. It makes him the highest-paid wide receiver in NFL history.
  6. Man I have to look closer at my typos and this change the auto correct on my phone
  7. A bit of a surprise given how well he and Mahomes work together and how much pressure his speed & quickness puts on a defense. But with Ju-Ju on the roster and the speed of the wideouts in the draft, I guess taking at least a 1st rounder plus from a team and not having to pay extraordinary money for a top talent is worth the risk of losing something from your passing game.. ESPN: Sources - New York Jets, Miami Dolphins in trade talks for Kansas City Chiefs WR Tyreek Hill. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/33577941/sources-new-york-jets-miami-dolphins-trade-talks-kansas-city-chiefs-wr-tyreek-hill
  8. A slightly better deal, certainly not so much that would make one go back on their word, twice. Maybe there is language in there covering his back that the Vikes left out...
  9. Money is pretty even now what is the language? After visiting with the Vikings on Monday, Smith has agreed to a three-year, $42 million deal that’s worth up to $47 million, according to multiple reports. So, Smith goes from making $8.75 million a year to $14 million. And he gets to face his former team in the Packers two times a year.
  10. Add Collins now, their line got mu h better; if he stays healthy. I've never understood the love for Hurst; and average at best tightend who can't block very well. A dime a dozen
  11. Right, the Ravens are a victim of their own making. By using players are multiple positions, it creates or allows a player to chose which one pays more, or would. Bozeman thought he deserved more money because he played guard & center. It backed fired on him and soured the Ravens on him. It still seems odd that they, reportedly, would not try to keep him for year. He is better than Merkari and Merkari is better at being a guard, at this time at least. Now they are down one lineman who can play either guard or center. So I guess it is draft one in the first 4 rounds...
  12. At one point he was an MVP, then the Super Bowl loser hang over. I blame a large part of his stats going down since then on injuries to his weapons, offensive line issues, and yep, coaching, play calling. Even in the blown Super Bowl lead the plays that were called didn't help hold that 23 pt lead we hear about every time Brady's name is mentioned. He is on the down side of his career, 12 years in the league. But he can still throw the deep ball, with a fresh start and a solid line I expect a good year from him
  13. Good line, running game, defense; he might put up MVP numbers again
  14. Wow, that is cheap, what a steal for the Colts, he should fit in nicely. Falcons eat $40 mil dead cap hit wow 3rd round pick that is..
  15. Here ya go... https://www.si.com/nfl/chiefs/gm-report/the-art-of-nfl-contracts-part-4
  16. Maybe he just didn't like the area, or burned his bridge with Decosta when he turned down their offer in December, thinking he could get more in the offseason..
  17. I like, sure not the fleatest of feet, but great blocker, powerful runner, and he can catch.. nice move by the org
  18. Throw that in with Smith reportedly not only turning down the Ravens offer, but also making a new offer to them which was accepted only to then change the offer HE, Smith, just made a day before.. if at all true, things are bonkers
  19. Wow, and the Ravens didn't want to match or he didn't want to play here? Things are really strange now..
  20. Yeah, I'm sure they will use him as a center/guard.. still, would like to know what they paid him.
  21. Depends how much he signed for, haven't seen how much. they already have a center returning..
  22. Bozeman gone, strange, one year deal with the Panthers... very strange
  23. 3 first, a 3rd, & 4th, getting only a 5th back plus Watson, then you cap strap your team setting a new price for qbs... ouch Should be interesting to see what they get for Baker
  24. Cleveland does what they do, they are nuts $230 mil fully guaranteed
  25. It's just uncanny how over the years this organization just can't have a solid passing attack no matter who the tandem is at the time. Ever since they had to let MJ and DA go, they haven't been able to find, develope wideouts.
