Money is pretty even now what is the language? After visiting with the Vikings on Monday, Smith has agreed to a three-year, $42 million deal that’s worth up to $47 million, according to multiple reports. So, Smith goes from making $8.75 million a year to $14 million. And he gets to face his former team in the Packers two times a year.

And so the protection of burrow has begun

Add Collins now, their line got mu h better; if he stays healthy. I've never understood the love for Hurst; and average at best tightend who can't block very well. A dime a dozen -
Right, the Ravens are a victim of their own making. By using players are multiple positions, it creates or allows a player to chose which one pays more, or would. Bozeman thought he deserved more money because he played guard & center. It backed fired on him and soured the Ravens on him. It still seems odd that they, reportedly, would not try to keep him for year. He is better than Merkari and Merkari is better at being a guard, at this time at least. Now they are down one lineman who can play either guard or center. So I guess it is draft one in the first 4 rounds...

At one point he was an MVP, then the Super Bowl loser hang over. I blame a large part of his stats going down since then on injuries to his weapons, offensive line issues, and yep, coaching, play calling. Even in the blown Super Bowl lead the plays that were called didn't help hold that 23 pt lead we hear about every time Brady's name is mentioned. He is on the down side of his career, 12 years in the league. But he can still throw the deep ball, with a fresh start and a solid line I expect a good year from him

Good line, running game, defense; he might put up MVP numbers again

Wow, that is cheap, what a steal for the Colts, he should fit in nicely. Falcons eat $40 mil dead cap hit wow 3rd round pick that is..

Maybe he just didn't like the area, or burned his bridge with Decosta when he turned down their offer in December, thinking he could get more in the offseason..
-
I like, sure not the fleatest of feet, but great blocker, powerful runner, and he can catch.. nice move by the org
-
Throw that in with Smith reportedly not only turning down the Ravens offer, but also making a new offer to them which was accepted only to then change the offer HE, Smith, just made a day before.. if at all true, things are bonkers
-
Wow, and the Ravens didn't want to match or he didn't want to play here? Things are really strange now..
-
Yeah, I'm sure they will use him as a center/guard.. still, would like to know what they paid him.
-
Depends how much he signed for, haven't seen how much. they already have a center returning..
-
Bozeman gone, strange, one year deal with the Panthers... very strange
-
3 first, a 3rd, & 4th, getting only a 5th back plus Watson, then you cap strap your team setting a new price for qbs... ouch Should be interesting to see what they get for Baker
-
Cleveland does what they do, they are nuts $230 mil fully guaranteed
-
It's just uncanny how over the years this organization just can't have a solid passing attack no matter who the tandem is at the time. Ever since they had to let MJ and DA go, they haven't been able to find, develope wideouts.
-
Nope, the Packere offered the same money, reportedly, he turned them down.
-
It's a great deal, the old mantra, right player right price. He is still a very good run stuffer

He has signed but in a shocking move, his fav reciver demanded a trade.. wow CBS Sports: Davante Adams traded to Raiders: Packers dealing All-Pro receiver to Las Vegas for multiple draft picks. https://www.cbssports.com/nfl/news/davante-adams-traded-to-raiders-packers-dealing-all-pro-receiver-to-las-vegas-for-multiple-draft-picks/ that will see multiple picks -- including Las Vegas' first-round selection in the 2022 NFL Draft -- go back to Green Bay, according to ESPN's Adam Schefter and confirmed by CBS Sports NFL insider Jason La Canfora. The Washington Post is reporting the Packers will receive Las Vegas' first-rounder (No. 22) and second-rounder (No. 53) in next month's NFL Draft Along with landing with a new team, Adams -- who was previously hit with the franchise tag by the Packers -- receives a new contract with the Raiders that makes him the highest-paid receiver in the NFL. Specifically, Adams' new contract is worth $141.25 million over five years, giving him an average annual salary of $28.25 million

The man tells great stories, easily one of the best at it... I wonder if he still chides Eddie George about taking the ball away from him in that playoff game; changed the game..
-
Must be the culture we are in now, seems more players are backing out of previously agreed deals for one reason or another. Maybe it is just the internet, and this has happened a lot in the past and we just couldn't hear about... dunno...

A blessing in disguise I say..

Why? He is undersized, not very strong at the point of attack, thus can't hold an edge. He was a very good college player, but just a role player now, depth. Maybe 10 snaps a game.
