Fastest recorded wide receiver class in NFL history. The curmudgeon in me says the stop watches were fixed. Some of those times were sick, just sick. Not all of those guys have great hands, even the ones that do, some will just not be able to acclimate to the NFL game for one reason or another. Should be interesting to see who shakes out. The Ravens need more speed, on both sides of the ball, the speed at wide out is rarely seen. They tend to struggle off of the line, or only have straight line speed. While you can't teach speed, speed alone is not good enough, quickness is the most important. Will the Ravens reach for one of the speed demons in the 2nd?

A Summary of Where the Ravens Are at This Point
tsylvester replied to oldno82's topic in Baltimore Ravens
This may be the most important off season in Ravens history; not an overstatement for sure. Whether the draft or free agency, Ravens players included, this could be a mark against or for Eric; make or break his career. Hold on folks, it's going to be a bumpy ride... I see donut man has come around to my posts about the middle linebacker position... Hi Mikey -
New Trainer: Anyone Would be an Improvement...

Don't know much about him, maybe he learned what not to do while with the Titans, a team with a worse history of season ending injuries than the Ravens... -
It's not just the system, he gets pumped off his routes easily, struggles against press man at the line and does not track the ball well...

Apple is the most over rated db in the game. The refs clearly were told to just let them play. Shoot, all of the head slaps on the sideline, even the ref getting hit, when Darnold nailed Burrow out of bouds, should have warranted a penalty, even if they were off setting.. Just more proof the refs were told to keep their flags locked down.

Im sure it was, they probably have a graff outlining the increases every few years, accelerated by the pandemic and loss of revenue...

Ack, don't let the movers take you over, essentially every team has screwed a city over and moved at some point. Dont be a Woody

If the Bengals defense can catch one or two of the picks Stafford throws every game they win. If not, Rams... When I was a kid I was a Rams fan, up until I moved to Md and the Ravens came to be so yes, I would like to see the Rams win

What a load of malarkey. Granted, I don't go to games any more, the price is just too much all things considered. But they are forcing the stadium authority to sownd over $1 Billion to revamp the stadiums, see that as our tax dollars. Now they are raising prices to add to the "fan experince", player contracta included. That is a double dip for sure, and for shame.. Completely disagree, he is just reacting to the Rams and the fact that for ONCE, buying a championship MIGHT work out. The Rams are going to be in major trouble over the next few years, so much so that consecutive losing seasons in a real likelihood. That is not what I want to see from my team. Build the team the way it should be built; solid draft picks, do the homework, they just might get Hall of Fame players from there as they once did. With good cap management, you can keep them and augment the team with the Right free agents. This way has proven to produce playoff teams, Super Bowl winning teams. With the new president who is supposed to be a wiz with contracts & cap, maybe they can get ahead of cap issues.

Nothing to see here folks, as far as tanking goes. Fans, media have talked about teams tanking for decades, to the point of humor. All of the talking heads on the "sports stations" for years have said team x should tank for the #1 spot. Some have even postured that those team have, so why is it news, breaking news, earth shattering news now? Because Flores says he was offered money to tank? Or Jackson says it, only to walk it back? Nothing is being fixed, if it were with all of the idiots who have gone through the NFL, and flubbed out, surely those brainiacs, brilliant idiots would have spoken up by now...

Cass had done a great job, though I am not sure Brown is the right choice. The Browns were terrible, the Wizzards even worse... Hmm, he uses a lot of words and phrases to actually say nothing. Not that there's anything wrong with that, what more can he say without revealing secrets

Cincinnati dominates the north for years to come

The best qb doesn't always win the games, shoot, Dilfer won a Super Bowl, Mark Ripien won one, Jim Kelly lost 4 of them, Dan Marino lost one and never got back and look at those offenses those guys lead. Lamar doesn't have to be be better than, lame papa...ole buddy ole pal -

They had their starting qb, a major difference.. You can say excuse, you can say close games catch up to you. True but also misleading. The fact is this team made up of mostly frie cooks on defense, a qb with no playing time, was in most every game and one play away in 6 of the loses from making the playoffs. How good was Ten? They lost their only playoff game, yippie... Now they get a low draft pick. -

Yeah, I just wish they would do away with pregame shows, show commercials for that hour, do the same for the half time shows, afterall, the broadcasts teams just repeat what the aforementioned have said. This way they can keep the injury timeouts, and called timeouts, but we will see the 3 + hour in 2 hours or less -

Six games were lost by a total of less than 15 points; six. This with the plethora of injuries, including their quarterback, 2 starting pro bowl corners, and a safety. They had a ton od first year players, practice squad players not just starting but playing a majority of the snaps. Did I mention the issues with injuries on the offensive line, the running backs? Six games, <15 pts. This is a team that went 14-2 not so long ago when fully healthy. The only real question, & yes it's a big question is Lamar. Can he stay healthy, illness or injury. Shoot the most disappointing thing to come from the pressconfrence is that Lamar is still not healed from a bone bruise 2 months ago... Then there is the question about his passing accuracy, reading a defense quickly, getting the ball out on time. Yes I know, big questions, but again, 14-2, when healthy. Will the Bengals be good for a while? Likley, but nothing unbeatable, nothing more than the battles we've had with Pitt over the years. Frankly, they are going to face cap issues in the near future as well. The future is not so bleak -
Listening to Harb's pressconfrence today, reading a little bit into one of his answers, they are going to be looking into, draft, adding speed to the defense...

Stafford will throw 3 picks, will the Bengals catch them? He does it every game, if they catch them, its a Bengal Super Bowl win
