  1. I concur
  2. Don't sleep on this one. Joe may be a statue, but when given time he can pick a part any secondary. Will the Ravens find a pass rush?
  3. Did ya hear the one about a player who said he wanted to be a Raven for life, then signed for the vet minimum? Yeah, no one else did either...m
  4. That if you are American when you go into a bathroom and an American when you come out, that you are European when you're in the bathroom.... made you look, 3 words you don't want to hear in a bathroom...
  5. If he wants Watson money, tag and trade next year. If he wants more "resonable", $160-175 guaranteed, okay, it can be worked with.
  6. Well, he is a decent backup qb, but not a starter...
  7. Player in league history... Where will Lamar fall? ENGLEWOOD, Colo. -- From the moment the Denver Broncos landed Russell Wilson in a franchise-altering trade this past March, general manager George Paton insisted that the team's goal was to sign the star quarterback to a long-term extension. Paton and the Broncos achieved that goal Thursday, agreeing with Wilson on a five-year, $245 million extension that includes $165 million in guaranteed money, sources told ESPN's Adam Schefter. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34500536/russell-wilson-denver-broncos-agree-5-year-extension-worth-245-million-including-165-million-guaranteed-sources-say
  8. So they opened a roster spot and some dockets. Maybe looking to add someone released from another team or trade
  9. Yeah, one big club right now, one more week...
  10. Eh, he still could given his cap hit this is $23 mil. A new deal could make this year's cap hit the same or slightly lower
  11. For the life of me, I can't figure out what they see in the kid. Every time he goes in it results in a loss of yards or no gain.
  12. Moon really played his heart out, I fully expect him to make the ps, along with Bridges. With an expanded ps they will be able to keep some real talent...
  13. He has signed, good move with not one but two backs coming back from serious knee injuries
  14. Titans, Broncos, Bill's cut their punters, Eric missed a golden opportunity to snag an extra draft pick, even if it was a 6th
  15. He was lost in all of the coverages, man under, man to the weak side, high/low... Better? Maybe with less complicated coverages, but he has lost a step. He still tackles well and is a great leader, two things Harbs loves in a defender. I expect He will be released and brought back if he doesn't land somewhere, he loves playing here
  16. Yeah, Jefferson has just lost too many steps, great leader and energy, but he just can't keep up
  17. Wow, they waived Dicker, why not wait for a trade partner?
  18. Pressure, this year he is battling 3 others for one roster spot.... My guess either he or Jefferson get it... The 3rd one, the small speedster is likely headed to the ps.
  19. He is a Harbs fav so I would say yes he makes the team. Frankly, he has always given up big plays and made one really good play a game. Enough with players like that, those who have potential. Play or don't, there is no potential on this team any more, it is too close to being very good.
  20. Great move by Eric to sign Dicker, who did very well punting and kicking last night. There are a few teams in dire need of a kicker/punter especiallyBuffalo now that they cut their rapist punter, great trade bait.
  21. Well, another undefeated fake season, no major injuries to major players, still waiting to hear about the bubble corner injured on the 2pt conversion.. Well, Poe was hurt badly..... Some good talent on this team, no signs of a consistent running game, though Davis looked like a starting back behind Jk and Gus (who will miss the first 4 games at least. We won't know the starting line till they line up against the Jets week 1... Robinson looked good burning fry cooks, nothing worse than burnt fries... can he do that in the regular season with Lamar? Hope, that is what we can take from this off-season, Hope.
  22. Yeah, got gassed late in the game, conditioning! But I think he earned a spot, he even made a few tackles on special teams
  23. Yep, pretty much, as if they are worth reading anyway
  24. It's a great read, albeit a bit long but worth the time. Ross has the desire, the familiarity of the system. Has the physical tools, but does he have the instincts, the discipline it takes to be a long term middle backer? https://www.baltimorebeatdown.com/2022/8/25/23321248/ravens-udfa-linebacker-josh-ross-is-a-realistic-roster-option-nfl-news
  25. With the emergence of Likely, I think that poses plenty of issues for defenses. He runs better than Boyle, so doubling Beastdrews will almost be impossible. Sure, Likely had emerged via linecooks defending him in mostly zone. But he showed great hands, quick feet and the agility to make men miss, break tackles. If they double both or just play match up zone, now the wideouts will be able, in theory, to exploit the coverages. If Lamar can be on time, have time, or see the right reads, this can be a time consuming offense scoring touchdowns instead of field goals. This will force teams to throw into a secondary that is, on paper, very very dangerous. If they stay healthy, this could be a special year...
