  1. Don't put too much stock in a Thursday night game, they are just brain farts. Shoot, players are barely on the way to recovery from the Sunday games. Miami is not that good and the Ravens not that bad.. Though it was quite fitting the player the Ravens tried to trade for forced a fumble and returned it for a touchdown
  2. Yeah, I was hoping his stutter and go would stop, but he is just not quick enough any more to get away with that type of running
  3. Wow, this is the main problem with Thursday night games; one team just runs out of energy. Last night, it was clearly the Ravens. They were a light bulb ready to burn out, shined brightly early then withered away. The line that moved moutains and gave Lamar time, no longer. A defense punishing the Dolphins, no longer able, trying to hard to overcome their energy deficiency, they made the same old mistakes. The play calling once again was spotty, not that it truly mattered when a team just has no life left in their battery, it's gonna die.... As usual, an ugly Thursday night game, this time the better team lost...
  4. There is only 1 team that had it's starters combine to miss 56 or more in a season due to injury and went on to win the Super Bowl; the Giants with that lucky helmet catch. Eventually the injuries will catch up to this team, but when is the question...
  5. That 10 minute drive was incredible, great effort from that whole unit. It was the turning point of the game
  6. Jinksies, another game to watch on tape.... Upside; getting to fast forward through all of the commercials and horrible half time show... Ravens in a walk, but then......
  7. This is a horrible draft record. Sure, no one could foresee some of the issues, but my gosh, he struck out looking each time... https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/32584857/las-vegas-raiders-cut-ex-first-round-cb-damon-arnette-video-death-threats The Raiders last week released receiver Henry Ruggs III in the wake of his deadly car crash that claimed the life of 23-year-old Tina Tintor and her dog and has Ruggs facing felony DUI resulting in death and reckless driving charges that carry a possible sentence of 46 years in prison. Ruggs and Arnette were the Raiders' two first-round picks in 2020. They also had three third-round selections in running back Lynn Bowden Jr., who was traded away before the 2020 season began, receiver Bryan Edwards, who is a starter but had no catches on four targets Sunday in Las Vegas' 23-16 loss at the New York Giants, and linebacker Tanner Muse, who spent his rookie season on IR and was waived before this season. The Raiders' two fourth-round selections that year -- offensive lineman John Simpson, a starter at left guard, and cornerback Amik Robertson, who was a healthy scratch against the Giants. Also Monday, Mayock confirmed the Raiders had signed DeSean Jackson, as the veteran wide receiver had indicated on Sunday. "He signed his contract a little while ago. He's a Raider. He's kind of a Bay Area kid who went to Cal. He told us ... in our Zoom call the other day he looked pretty good in the silver and black," Mayock said.
  8. Well said. 6-2 needs to be repeated. As much as I diagnose Lamar, any other qb would set a record for being sacked behind this line. Yes, some of that is on Lamar for not trusting a read, throwing on time, but more of it is on the line's lack of pass blocking. Some of the issues were play design, route schemes, we saw that in the 4th quarter when Roman finally saw the comebsck routes, quick outs to Brown in the flat would work and boy did they work. I just wish he will now not keep changing players after every play, let them, & the line get into rythem. For now, as we have said, the age old mantra of one game at time, what ever has to work to win. Just do us a favor Harbs, get this team prepared properly for each game, against a better team that is a loss, a bad loss. 6-2 can turn into 8-9 quickly, if not.....
  9. Several NFL coaches and other higher-ups have griped to ESPN about the apparent difference in standards regarding COVID-19 protocols in the wake of Green Bay Packers quarterback Aaron Rodgers’ bombshell admission that he is unvaccinated. While the NFL said unvaccinated players must wear masks along the sideline at preseason games, Rodgers did not. A memo sent out by the NFL about the sideline rule was “B.S.” one exec told ESPN, adding that “what’s going on in Green Bay, that’s not what teams were told by the NFL. Our players wore masks all the time. We made our guys that weren’t playing wear masks.” The NFL is investigating any possible protocol breaches by Rodgers and the Packers. For example, he attended a Halloween party with other Packers players where no masks to be seen—a violation that, according to NFL rules, is accompanied by a $14,650 fine. https://www.thedailybeast.com/nfl-teams-are-pissed-that-green-bay-packers-unvaxed-quarterback-aaron-rodgers-are-getting-special-treatment

  19. Fitting, your gutting them on the ground and you throw an interception
  20. Houston is clearly a wasted signing, no sacks when the team needs them most?
  21. You can't do that, you cant do that, you cant do that

  25. Queen showed how important it is to stay true to gap: tackle for a big loss. Bynes shows why drop depth is important: tipped pass. Great job defense
