  1. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/john-harbaugh-i-want-to-see-isaiah-likely-be-an-all-pro Ravens tight end Isaiah Likely is entering the final year of his rookie deal, recently noting that he’s focused on making plays happen rather than his contract. But if his head coach’s vision comes to fruition, Likely will be in line for a big payday moving forward. “I want to see [Likely] be an All-Pro,” John Harbaugh said in his press conference this week. “That’d be my goal for him, and he’s capable of it.” Likely has flashed his potential throughout his first three seasons. A fourth-round pick in 2022, he’s been the second tight end to Mark Andrews for much of his career. In last year’s season opener, he caught nine passes for 111 yards with a touchdown — and nearly had a second at the end of the game. But Likely didn’t have another 100-yard game for the rest of the season. His top output was four catches for 75 yards in a Week 11 loss to the Steelers. He ended the year with 42 receptions for 477 yards with six touchdowns. Entering 2025, Likely said this week that he sees himself as a versatile piece for the offensive unit. “I feel like in the offense, whether I’m out wide, in-line, in the backfield, anywhere, really just understanding [my job] and making plays where the plays really aren’t there to be made,” Likely said of his expectations for the upcoming season. “Just always trying to go the distance. Whether I catch a pass, whether I’m blocking down the field, always trying to make an explosive play happen while I’m on the field.” In 49 total games with 19 starts, Likely has 108 catches.
  2. Yep, unless he wants to test the waters, but I doubt any team would give him much more
  3. A side from being tall, I am not sure what all of the fuss is about Kolar? Has he shown any run after the catch ability, escapability? He should be easy to keep if they want him. Likely has earned the top the spot, improved his blocking, defiant in challenged catches, it's his ball. And yes, play making oozes out of his pores. Sure, would have been nice to get something for Andrews who has done nothing but be a true Raven, one of the best tightends in the game for many years, one of the best ever team wise and that is saying something, Ozzie, Heap, Shannon, Andrews, wow... And now Likely, what a run.... But Andrews has to be let go after the season, unless he wants a vet min deal to stay and retire a Raven.
  4. Eldest daughter will take control https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/carlie-irsay-gordon-is-expected-to-assume-control-of-the-colts
  5. His two daughters, according to the report, were both very involved in the team business, one or both of them I suppose

  7. Lions pulled their playoff plan Though there's a desire among NFL executives to make late-season games more exciting and incentivize teams to play their starters in Week 18, there wasn't enough support from league owners to approve Detroit's proposal, so the Lions withdrew it before a formal vote. It could be revisited in the future, especially as the NFL pushes to expand to an 18-game schedule. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45252578/lions-withdraw-proposal-change-nfl-playoff-seeding
  8. It's cowardly leaving it up to the owners to reneg on contracts, high dollar, if a player gets hurt in the Olympics
  9. Owners, absurdity, allowing, approve players to play in Olympic flag football...(equally absurd) No way would I want my star players, runningbacks, corners, safeties, wide outs, quarterbacks for the shifty, speedy ones, playing, no freaking way
  10. I'm on the fence to be honest. I do agree about winning a division, but there is something to be said for a team that goes 14-3, comes in 2nd in their strong division and has to go on the road to play a team that won their weak division at 7-9. Granted, this doesn't happen very often, but it seems to be happening more & more lately.
  11. Yeah, Brent has been a solid Raven player, works hard, does what ever they ask.
  12. He is just likely waiting until camp to sign. Jenkins is a space eater, in the right rotation he might provide a little more, if he makes the team. Just a 1 year deal
  13. They signed 35 year old John Jenkins yesterday to compete, add depth to the nose guard position. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/45184227/baltimore-ravens-sign-veteran-nose-tackle-john-jenkins
  14. A system qb, no doubt, enjoyed watching him grow as a qb at Iowa St, but he seemed to level out. But what else could they do? They have the system According to multiple reports, Purdy and San Francisco have agreed to a five-year, $265 million extension, making the final pick of the 2022 draft one of the highest-paid players in league history. NFL Media reports Purdy will receive $181 million in total guarantees, including $165.05 million in the first three years of a contract that runs through the 2030 season. Purdy’s average annual value of $53 million puts him just above Justin Herbert’s $52.5 million, ties him with Jared Goff, and is just behind Tua Tagovailoa’s $53.1 million. https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/brock-purdy-49ers-agree-to-five-year-contract-extension

  19. Im just about there now, watch far less NFL games now than I used to......
  20. They put a team outside the US I will quit watching the NFL
  21. Oh yeah, forgot about TJ,
  22. I dont, good/low cap hit for a guy who exceeded expectations last year. They almost had to do it. He likely has one more year like last year in him, but hey
  23. https://www.nytimes.com/athletic/6355897/2025/05/14/ravens-derrick-henry-two-year-contract-extension/ The Ravens and Derrick Henry agreed to a two-year, $30 million contract extension Wednesday that will keep the 31-year-old off the free-agent market and reward him for a record-breaking first year in Baltimore. The extension includes $25 million fully guaranteed, according to a league source.
  24. Well, Jackson was almost 100 pts lower in batting average over the games they lost and gave up an exorbitant amount of tripples in those games as well. He even reportedly confessed to the gran jury that he threw those games. In the games they won he was out of this world in average and fielding, so, the evidence is up to the reader I guess.
