You have a very fast running qb, a very large runningback, you spread them out, make them defend everyone

Too many players running for the money going to other teams. The depth of teams has been depleted. I still think the bottom of the 12 teams will get blown out by the top teams. Of all the years, this may be a qb like Will Howard will win it all. He is not a good qb, but has the weapons better than most teams

Rosegarden is going to be tested by Garrett, Smith. Stanley is playing great, healthy, this could be his biggest test yet. No matter how they have to win, just win.. College ball is nutz, Indiana still undefeated, 8-0, what? Arkansas put up 678 yards, their 3rd time this year putting up over 600 yards on offense... LSU in total command, even chasing the starting qb for A& M out of the game for a running qb who threw 2 passes. Then their qb melts down and throws picks, bad picks. A&M comes back and wins

Wiggs is out, will not travel with the team, per Espn Edit to add, reportedly he could play if he flies to the game in time. What, did he miss the plane? The bus
-
Browns are down at least 1 starting tackle, possibly a guard as well. Yes, Chubb is expected to play but Ford, another tough runner is out, thankfully. With Humph out and Wiggs hurting, I know Maulet is expected back but yes, this could be a tricky game

I hope the 2ndary has been working overtime on the jugs machine. Winston will make a few bone headed throws, they better catch them...
-
Hutch ain't no Jack Youngood, he is not going to affective coming off of a broken tibia and being out of the game for months.
-
Chub has killed this defense on outside runs, for years. Yes, the same play Henry has killed teams on this year. Will this be the year the defense finally holds the edge and shuts that play down? Will Garret shut down the Henry sweep?
-
Yeah, plus the cap space.
-
Welp, it is not just a qb change for the Browns
-
Here we go, another divisional rival game, one team on the rise, the other falling faster than a turkey this time of year. Winston will get the start for the Browns after Watson tore his Achilles and is lost for at least the rest of this season. While the Browns have been down, they still have a very good defense and some weapons on offense. Both sides of the ball could give the Ravens trouble. This has all of the makings of a trap game. These two teams know each other, the one who stays focussed, determined, disciplined, will win the game. On paper the Ravens should win this one handedly, but the game is played on grass. The theme for the Ravens this year is stack. Stack plays, stack games, build for the future. Baltimore is riding a 5 game win streak, will it end or become 6? Who ya got?
-
Too high a price for him. He is very good, but not worth that price. I've read Adarius Smith is peaking the Ravens interest. Not sure if the Browns will trade with the Ravens, nor how much he has left in the tank, but if the price is right, he is an upgrade over Owe and Ojabo. He would be a good compliment to go with Ngakoue & VanNoy, sorta like Clowne last year.
-
And cheaply too... if not for his performance, maybe the Ravens make the trade for often injured Cooper Kupp,, who can be had on the cheap. I would not want him here, too many injuries..

That was Lamar, still learning the offense, trying to do too much as he transitioned to a more pocket passer. Bateman, pressing to return too quickly, had a few drops causing Lamar, my guess, to lose confidence in him. This year, clearly Lamar has all but mastered this offense, and getting work in with Bateman, they have developed a very good relationship, proof, that roll right heave to Bateman who was triple covered. Bateman made the adjustment to come back for the ball. A huge play in the scheme of the game and in their development.

Yes, my fear exactly, as we talked about in the Pees thread, if Orr has been leaning on him all season, he, from the start, then maybe he, Pees is the reason for thos defensive failure. Granted, they have runs in games where they shut teams down, but, the 4th quarter collapses are very real, very big. The end of half's are as well. If a team has the ball with 2 mins left in the first half, we can pretty guarantee that they will score before half. Todd has done a marvelous job helping Lamar and calling plays, his combinations, usage of not 1, not 2 but all 3 tight ends along with the talents at wide out. Henry is piling up yards but not carries, doing what Harbs said he wanted, less than 25 carries per game. I'm not sure it is conditioning with the defense, they have a very good, deep defensive line rotation. But more so the philosophy, bend, don't break, make a stop somewhere. Pees was well hated for his late game defense, prevent a victory, play deep, rally to the ball. It cost this franchise many games. If they can't be more consistent and get away from that, they will not beat Kc.
