  1. Good flag pick up. Of concern is no pressure on Jones, dude has all day to throw... Still, great first half
  2. This might be a record for the fastest first quarter.. 2 great drives finished off right
  3. Great opening series by the defense... Now can both play consistently for the entire game....
  4. The most bang for the buck would be trade Stanley, but cap wise that would hurt badly. I would venture to say given all that the Ravens have done for Brown, and what this org means to his family, I would not be surprised to see him give them a friendly deal... Maybe right tackle money
  5. What a drive to open the game, great mix of run & pass, way to finish it off, almost 9 mins
  6. Should be interesting, he has shown that the Ravens shouldn't have given Stanley that much money, now Zeus Jr is a solid left tackle, right tackle and guard.. Show him the money
  7. A bit tougher test than the Jags, should be interesting coming off of a blow out win; the passing game will have to set up the run... Might be closer than most think it should be....
  8. If this year has taught us anything, it is that anything can happen. Look at college, big name teams have lost to the little guy, in the pros, 0-10 teams beat 10-0 teams. Shoot the Jets, Bengals, Jags have had games when it looked like a pop warner team could beat them, yet they still had at least one game where they looked unstoppable. Even the Slurs are still in the playoff hunt, all of this to give us hope.... Even so, a Colts, Phins, Browns loss, or inbetween those, plus the Ravens winning out puts the Ravens in... But who cares, right! It has been a bit frustrating of a season, but also rewarding with the possibility of 10, 11 wins. Sure, disappointing to not make the playoffs because of last year, however... Remember what this team went through, covid rampant on the players, injuries as well, leading to no practice for 3 weeks, 3 games in what, 15 days; unheard of to even think 8 wins, let alone 11 and to top it off, they could have and maybe should have a real shot at 13 wins! They were only beat in one game, they beat them selves in 4 games....
  9. The Steelers, to quote the late Coach Green, are who we thought they were; a sham. Defenses have figured them out; short passing game. Just as they do against the Ravens; flood the middle of the field. If you have a good front 4/3, to stop the run, you can back up the backers to stop the short throws. Ben can't throw deep any longer aside from floaters, he has no arm strength. Similar to how the Ravens play offense; no deep shots down the sidelines. If you have quick active backers, you can stop or limit the Ravens offense, and, the Steelers. So much for the Steelers padding their stats....
  10. Is it better to win 10 games amd miss the playoffs or to go say 8-8 and miss them? This has been a whacky season, but at least we got to see good football, have a solid team and in this cyclical game we call football, 10 wins usually gets you in....
  11. Great question, pro days I am sure will happen, they can quarantine, then get together. Combine, maybe, with a bubble, a lot depends on the vaccine
  12. Yeah, they used to draft quantity, now they really need to draft quality, even if they only get 3 players from this draft. I know the cap is going to be tight, but to land a Pitts, or a D Smith from Bama who has really improved his hamds over the past two years. Rousseau from Miami is interesting, big, quick, but a one year wonder, makes a lot of plays because of his size, athleticism, rather than strength & talent for the next level. But he could be taught, and if he works at it, he could be the pass rusher this team has needed since Suggs..
  13. So do the Ravens go for a big shot say at tight end out of Florida in the first round, or maybe a real pass rusher? Do they sit back, see who drops? There are a number of really good wideouts coming in this draft, but given the teams inability to draft them, should they give up? Do they trade back, build up picks for 2022?
  14. Max, I don't stay up to watch night games any more, sleep as I've said is more important. However, I am very curious to see how this team rebounds against Dallas. While curiosity killed the cat, a little lost sleep next week won't hurt me.... There is clearly reason for optimism in this team moving forward, 5 loses, 4 of them winable with one less mistake, yeah, bring it baby....
  15. It's all good Max, don't have any expectations and enjoy what comes along. There is a lot of young talent on this team who we get to watch grow.. I was being a bit sarcastic
  16. Time to start looking at the draft; what holes to fill with limited draft picks. With a tight cap and little money to spend, the drafts will be key.
  17. It should be interesting to see what they do about the next draft. If college ball is indeed cancelled for this year, even if they some how stupidly play in the spring, what happens to the draft? Players may rise based on last year's play, while many will fall because they lacked the chance to gain the experience, thus improve their play not having another season to showcase....
  18. A report just came out stating that 21 of the 22 horses killed as a result of injury sustained at the track had pre-existing conditions known to the equestrians though they "did not grasp the significance of major pre-existing lessions". Then they should be fired, really, they didn't think a bone lesssion would lead to a break? Give me a freaking break.... https://www.pasadenastarnews.com/2020/03/10/no-illegal-medications-found-in-states-investigation-into-horse-deaths-at-santa-anita/
  19. 2 more horses have died this week, at the Del-Mar track, 4 since Nov 6th. Now were I a conspiracy nut, I would say this was purposely a done to detract from that horrible Santa Rosa track. As I said in my other post, Del -Mar is suppose to be the safest track....hmmm
  20. I heard their vet the other day try to proclaim the track safe because the rate of the horses being put down at the track had gone down.... And the reporter let her get away with that crap. No wonder they will not close that track... Sickening On a side note, 2 horses were put down here at a track this weekend, considered the safest in the nation.
  21. I was just reading about it & about to post.
  22. Thanks crav, I've read a ton about that track and no one has brought this up. It makes perfect sense; the owners should pay through the nose or be forced to sell the track. Why this isn't getting more press is astounding, sad and maddening.
  23. When is enough enough? Crav, this is your wheel house, the "experts" claim to have no clue as to the injuries; but clearly this track needs to be shut down.. 34 horses in less than a year https://ktla.com/2019/10/19/santa-anita-park-in-arcadia-sees-34th-horse-death-since-late-december/
