  1. The middle will be open all day, their backers take deep drops in zone and can't cover in man
  2. Nice no block by Boyle, just grt in the way avoid the penalty. Ingram runs like a beast
  3. Good stand, field position. Kenny Young inactive, interesting...
  4. 90 yard touchdown drive? A punt or a turnover?
  5. Anyone else feel like it is 1996-1999? You know, when we were glad to have a home team to cheer for but you knew it was likely going to be frustratingly ugly..... Here is to surprises!
  6. I guess it is good... I know they had to change somethings because people could not hold/ control their liquor, but doing away with an open infield and putting those bad bands in there seems to have taken some from the fun.. https://www.wbaltv.com/article/stronach-group-deal-with-city-aims-to-keep-preakness-in-baltimore/29374940
  7. Shoot, really? My siblings & I used to use them on our eyes to simulate funny glasses. I did the same with my kids, nephews, nieces, friends children etc I am sure we are not the only non gang, hate group to do so. I can go through an entire list of ways the ok sign has been used by me and many more people for silly, funny stuff. As I said, I know some use it for the intent as described by hate groups. However, what are we going to do, ban everything they decide to commandeer that once was used by millions for fun? One way to stand up against bullies, hate groups is to not give in, in this instance to not let them have it.
  8. Peace sign behind someone's head when taking a picture- bunny ears. People do silly things in pictures- photo bomb... Intent- proving what is in a person's heart & on their mind. Only by reviewing their past and present can we possibly have a clue, even then, people do change. Sure, he might have done it with bad intent, I grant you, but you & I have no idea nor do the Zingers.
  9. How do we know he did it with the intent to be "slick" or shall we say, to send a certaint message? Again, maybe he was just trying to be "cute", just because he got fired, does not mean he had the bad intent. He got fired because they complained. They easily could have, I would have for my kids at that young age, just shrugged it off and let the kid have a picture with their "hero" signing "everything will be okay". But they chose to break the kid's heart by telling their child that sign is not right to use... Seems petty to me.
  10. The Zingers are idiots, plain & simple. Sure, maybe the person playing the character had intent, but, without knowing for sure, they should have let their autistic child used the photo, they should just take it on faith that it was a character being funny with photos Now, it depends on the level of understanding the child has. My son has autism, he would not, cannot understand the concept of race nor of gestures. Since the guy was fired, case closed. Why hire a lawyer? Oh, the parks' lawyer contacted you; you don't want money, you don't want the gift card nor free tickets, he has been fired, what freaking more do you want? It is not against the law, it is only an issue because you made it one. Know how many times I hold my breath when people use the term retard? Short bus, etc when discribing or trying to insult someone, especially on line? Guess what, it is up to me to be offended by their use of those words, those gestures.
  11. Sometimes things have to grt worse before they get better. This might be the game. I've no expectations, no hope of a win, no idea if the defense can play better, nor if the offense can sustain drives to protect them..
  12. The more Bama players they draft & add, the worse the defense seems to be...
  13. Bout time, even in the 3rd he was an over reach, said it then, proven now... https://www.baltimoreravens.com/news/ravens-waive-olb-tim-williams-former-third-round-pick
  14. I keep saying it because everyone keeps bringing up the loss of Mosely, Suggs, Weddle. This defense had the same issues the last few years as they have this year. So how is losing an over rated linebacker who can't cover, an old rush end who can't rush any more (though he did keep the edge) and an older safety who couldn't run any more a loss? How is it a reason for over a 1,000 yards in 2 games?
  15. Steelers have a rookie qb Ravens & Browns have a 2nd year player Bengals, welp, they are the Bengals Sooo, how many wins do you think it will take to win the division? Me, I think 9, but 8 would not surprise me. This league, on whole, really stinks this year...
  16. To add, it only took the NFL a season and a half to catch up to Greg Roman's offense with Colin Kaepernik. He is running the same offense with a qb of similar skill set. Now granted, Kaep had his issues with throwing the ball, no very accurate down field or outside the numbers and no real touch on passes. So, currently that describes Lamar, but he is quicker and faster than Kaep. So only time will tell if Lamar over comes those throwing issues, & if he does, will the league catch up to Roman's offense, or will it not matter because Lamar will be a legit, complete quarterback.....
  17. Pie in the sky. Last season's defensive numbers were 100+ yards better because of the number of snaps they faced. They faced fewer snaps last year, per game, than they have this year. The Ravens offense has had fewer snaps per game this year, TOP, some of that due to big play strikes, some because of mistakes on offense; but largely due to the defense's inability to get off the field. So it is a symbiotic relationahip, sure. If the offense keeps the ball longer, the defense is less exposed. Sure, the number's should improve for the defense in this scenario. They also should improve when they face bad teams; the only teams either offense or defense has been able to perform against. The yards gained against Cleveland were stocked; most gained when the game was over. Over the course of a season no big deal. But over 4 games, it skews the stats, that is where the writer went wrong...
  18. You know how you can smell the rain before it comes? Feel the storm on your arm by the hairs standing up? & thunder rolled, the thunder rolled. The thunder rolled & the lightning strikes! As the storm clouds roll on a sleepless on night!
  19. Another targeting hit may end his season, again, pending appeal. Good, frankly he should be kicked out of the league. https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27735755/oakland-raiders-vontaze-burfict-suspended-rest-season
  20. I guess Wink just thought Jefferson earned it or deserved it because of his familiarity with the system...
  21. Meh, I know the backers are bad, but this is reaching.. https://pittsburgh.cbslocal.com/2019/09/30/fort-signs-with-ravens/
  22. Yep, what other reason could there be if the last 3 years have had the same issues with Jefferson, Weddle were in the secondary only to have Weddle gone this year and have the same issues? I know Jefferson is terrible in coverage, and had the mic on this week, but Thomas know how to cover and he is smart enough to play a lot of coverages no matter what he is used to from Seattle. So the common denominator is Wink, Harbs. This team has lacked discipline no matter who the players are since Harbs took over. I know, his winning record and Super Bowl win over shadow the penalties, missed assigments on offense and defense. But his in game management has been terrible from the start. One would think with experience he would get better, but he has not. Wins are great, but it clearly has come at a cost and this defense, has shown that eventually, it catches up to you. Let us not forget the violations of practice rules, minor on their own, even silly, but when bunched together like pixels, make a clear picture..
  23. https://ravenswire.usatoday.com/2019/09/30/report-earl-thomas-brandon-williams-get-in-heated-argument-after-week-4-loss/
  24. Oh and the Browns had 3 new dbs in their line-up after only a week of practice, yet there were no communication issues with their coverage... Hmmmm
  25. Grub, the defense had the same issues for the past few years; people put of position, blowing coverages. This is why I don't think it is the players....
