And now Stone, meh. Nice of each guy to help out, love bringing Wolfe back and his remarks on what the team is kooking for in a player.

We've all complained about the route combinations used in this offense for, well, ever. Receivers failing to get open, or atleast appearing so... Then the all 22 came out for us to view, and in them, we can see the timing between when a Ravens' qb has time amd when a receiver should break open, if, when at all. What we do not know is what the progession is on each play, so being an objective observer is often difficult. Yes, I, we have seen when Lamar has had time, a snap and throw route, when he either didn't trust the wr to get open or didn't see that the wr should be open. We cannot know if he was suppose to see the right read we did or just didn't trust the read. It's no secret around the league, around the fan base that the Ravens have never had a top talent wr crop, but then, nor have they had a great passing qb, or have and have not built a line to protect him. Other teams get high milage out of lesser known wr's, NE, Seattle, to name two. The qb's are great, the lines were solid, the route combinations looked better than what we see here. This year Lamar has to prove he can throw, on time, accurate, and not just shallow crossing routes nor roll outs to same side oit routes or jump balls. Those are the routes teams in the playoffs sit on and why this team can't move forward.

NFL Trade Rumors: Ravens Rework DL Calais Campbell & DT Brandon Williams' Deals, Create $4.5M Of Cap Room. https://nfltraderumors.co/ravens-rework-dl-calais-campbell-dt-brandon-williams-deals-create-4-5m-of-cap-room A move is on the move. I hope it isn't Watkins, no speed, often injured, lacks focus on easy passes...

What do we read into Ju Ju turning down the Ravens offer of $1.5 mil more than the Steelers who have an aging qb who can't throw it deep any more? What does this mean for Galiday, while they have to pay him 3x more than any other team to come here?
-
He showed promise when given the chance, but he also wasn't given much of a chance to play when injuries were healed even when those players played poorly. So the question is why? Are we, the fans, missing something? Is he just one of those players the coaches don't like?

Draft the center from Bama! (Yes I know he got injured last year)
-
Skurah is gone to the Dolphins...
-
Conditional pick for an I don't know how to catch tight end... Hmmm Could have traded with the Iggles for their often injured tigjt end.. But then maybe they tried and the Iggles wanted too much..
-
Intreaging, maybe a stop gap, some good tackles in the draft to sit behind, step in when he gets injured or leaves next year..
-
Agree, one of the most over rated players in the game. Corey Davis signs with the Jets, I am surprised. They don't even have a qb... It was for decent money, not too much, I wonder if the Ravens made an offer. He is a decent receiver, a bit inconsistent with his hands but he could have beem good here for that money.
-
Yeah I just saw that itnis a voidable deal, cap shenanigans if you will. They likely are just giving him one year to prove he belongs as the starter, then looking for a qb.. Still, $140 is a starting pt for Lamar...
-
4 years, $140 mil ext for Tayson Hill, wow...
-
Man, the Pats are trying to win the offseason, that never pays off. I know they have to spend the money, but wow
-
4 years $56 mil is quite high for him,
-
Free agent guard Kevin Zeitler has agreed to a three-year, $22.5 million contract with the Ravens, according to multiple reports. Per NBC Solid move, he is better than what they had on the line last year... Next up

Restucture of Mahomes saves $17 mil this year, but pushes the cap hit down the road. You can pay a ton for a qb, but you darn well better draft well to protect him. The Chiefs think they have with on tackle coming back due to injury the other who opted out because of covid. We shall see... Tampa is going the cheap way at qb, granted it's Brady. But they are going to have to pay dearly to keep that defense together. Timing is everything; you can't pay top dollar at every position especially with a small salary cap. Pay Lamar, but draft well around him. Hopefully he get his downfield accuracy worked out otherwise we will have a bunch of 10-11 wins seasons with a short post season...

Right, the Pats lost a lot of coaches and scouts over the years they were drafting well and winning, it all caught up to them and showed up this past season.
-
Juat look at Seattle, a likely hall of fame qb, 2 super bowls in his career, nothing even sniffing it the past 4, 5, 6 years. Why? Drafting, bad drafting, they let their draft picks like Sherman play out, then let them walk. Meanwhile, they.miss on defensive drafts, on offensive line depth, even on receivers to some extent. The results speak for them selves and now Wilson may or may not be on the trade block. It's an interesting question....

You can't pay a qb, #1 wr (one of the best), te (one of the best), left tackle (one of the best) and an edge rusher/ linebacker for long term and expect to have success ie- win super bowls. The only way to have a top qb and win is by drafting very well. Let those players play on rookie deals, win in that window, then let em walk. You don't let a Mahomes, Rogers, Watson, Wilson, Jackson, etc walk away you keep them long term and build around them through the draft. Tampa just proved it can be done. They built a solid offensive line to protect a statue qb, gave him weapons on the outside, drafted well, very well on defense, boom. Sure they used a free agent or two, but cheaply. That is how the Ravens won back in 2012; gave Joe a line, had great defensive drafts, sprinkle in a fa or two, stay healthy, get some "luck". Win. We've talked about it before but they will have to have a position or one player rule excluding or reducing the hit on the cap. Now is the best time to implement it with so much loss of revenue this past year and I am sure going into next season as well. No way can the Cheifs for instance, pay Mahomes, and the rest of that circus (currently $201.3 mil cap going into next season, close to what, $30 mil OVER) Billy boy said it best just after the season, they could only pay Cam $1 mil, they kept pushing the cap ahead to keep that team together and win all of those Super Bowls. Brady got pain a ton, he kept agreeing to extend his bonus to spread it out until it finally came due. Then the Pats were screwed, the stopped having very good drafts, especially on the defensive side, and their good choices on the offensive line kept getting hurt....

A report just came out stating that 21 of the 22 horses killed as a result of injury sustained at the track had pre-existing conditions known to the equestrians though they "did not grasp the significance of major pre-existing lessions". Then they should be fired, really, they didn't think a bone lesssion would lead to a break? Give me a freaking break.... https://www.pasadenastarnews.com/2020/03/10/no-illegal-medications-found-in-states-investigation-into-horse-deaths-at-santa-anita/

2 more horses have died this week, at the Del-Mar track, 4 since Nov 6th. Now were I a conspiracy nut, I would say this was purposely a done to detract from that horrible Santa Rosa track. As I said in my other post, Del -Mar is suppose to be the safest track....hmmm
