  1. No true passing offense like the Bengals with their trio, one per team perhaps, some decent qbs.

No top defense that can pressure the pocket with four.

We will have a better idea of this team's mindset after the Giants game, or during

  2. Meh, Wilson was named as fhe starter, got hurt, Coach says Wilson will remain starter when healthy..

No big deal to make the change, especially since or because Fields and the offense were so bad.

It would be one thing if the offense was producing, but it was not.

So the love fest for Tomlin being a genius for this move is fodder

  3. His voice is not fit for broadcasting, he constantly gets names pronounced wrong. It take him forever to describe what & or why on plays.

Oh and he is a hypocrite, always crying for calls as a player he now says qb should take.

He will last because of the house wives who love him, oh and the money Fox paid.. gag me with a spoon

  4. Media and their short memory, praising Tomlin for "switching" to Wilson from Fields even though the team was winning.

Um, Tomlin said before the season began that Wilson was qb 1, then when Wilson got hurt in the preseason, said he would go back to qb1 when healthy

So, how again did Tomlin "switch" to Wilson?

  5. Well, if true, found on the Instagram, the only place i could find it, according to Google, so take it for what it is worth

The #Ravens are working out Kickers Mason Crosby, Randy Bullock, and Greg Zuerlein during their bye week.

  6. Wow

    https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/ravens-suspend-diontae-johnson-for-refusing-to-enter-game-vs-eagles

Ravens head coach John Harbaugh said on Monday he would wait to comment on the situation with receiver Diontae Johnson, who did not play a snap in Sunday’s loss to the Eagles.

Now the organization has made a significant statement.

The Ravens announced they’ve suspended Johnson for one game for conduct detrimental to the team. With Baltimore on a bye in Week 14, that suspension will take place in the team’s Week 15 game against the Giants.

“We have made the difficult decision to suspend Diontae Johnson for our upcoming game against the New York Giants for conduct detrimental to the team,” G.M. Eric DeCosta said in a statement. “Diontae’s suspension stems from refusing to enter our game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

“We will have no further comments on this matter going forward.”

  7. The bye week could not have come at a better time. It has been quite the strange season, for fans and for the team. So many promising looks before the season began, players coming back healthy, not having to rehab injuries in the offseason, gave everyone hope of conquering the AFC  and winning a super bowl.

But then the wheels started to get loose, 2 close loses that could have been wins if not for ill timed mistakes. A once dominant defense, just a year ago, now a shadow of its self.

The offense, wow, there were times when it appeared no one could stop it, then times when the offensive wheels went flat.

Once we add in special teams and the struggles Tucker has had kicking field goals and extra points, wowza, fans, players, coaches all need this break.

Along the way, one player was left home from a game, then cut. Another benched for a game or two, then replaced all together. Rumors of turmoil brewing in a once, proud, tight nit family, are they still?

As we sit, 8-5, all five loses by 7 pts or less, 2 by 3 pts or less. Combined, 22 pts in total, while Tucker has missed a total of 23 pts between field goals & extra points.

No, we can't just add the points on and call them a win. Scoring leads to momentum shifts, who knows how either team will play if those points were made.

My point, however, is that this team is really close to putting it all together, or, falling a part completely, as another player may be readying his resume to hand in at burger King.

The once porous pass defense has been quite stingy of late. Is it the change in safeties, or just that they have not faced any real prolific passing offenses as they did earlier in the season?

The offense seems to have hit a road block, suddenly unable to finish off drives in the endzone consistently. But there is hope, real hope that it will hold up its end of the bargain.

The defense too should be getting better as some key injured players will be back after the bye.

So four games await this team, one a true get right game against perhaps the worst team in the league. Yes, I know, I hear your groans, the Raiders were supposed to be a pushover too, we saw how that went.

So take this time, watch other games, see those teams make mistakes, relax this week & weekend and just breathe, as I hope our team is going to do to clear their heads and come back ready to make a serious run.

I'm not saying Harbs is a bad coach, but this supposed doghouse bullshit needs to end now.  A GREAT coach would push aside differences and find the commonality of being on a team AND winning.  You think Pickens would sniff the field under Harbaugh?  Doubtful...

While I agree, especially when it comes to Cleveland playing guard, Billy B did bench a once super bowl hero for the following super bowl, as to why we still do not know.

But Johnson, back to our team, has had issues at every stop.

Jackson was not playing well, nor was Williams, so what is a coach to do?

  9. This past week end has shown us that no team stands out as the best, from week to week. KC has trouble scoring even with a Hall of Fame qb, te, and wr, their defense is good, but lacks depth and wears down.

The Bills, sure, better than week 3, but still, that much better than 35-10?

Detroit, now there is a team, right? Goff threw five picks in one game, they lost another defender for the season on Thanksgiving.

Sure, the Ravens pass defense looks better with the new safety rotation, but then they also have not faced any passing attacks like that of the Bengals since they switched.

Each game is a game in & of its self. Build on it, take what works. As the players have been saying all year, prepare for the playoffs with how each game is played.

    So maybe, just maybe...

SO much for my Eagles haven't played any real teams theory, but we SHOULD have won with a score of 26.  Tucker's demise sucks...

The Ravens beat them in every aspect, more rushing yards, passing yards, better on 3rd down, only 4.penalties, but the most important stat they lost was points.

Man, if we step back and look, there is a glimmer that says this team is close to being the team, offense, defense, special teams, that destroyed the Bills.

Can they? Dunno, it should be fun to watch...
