  1. 5 year extension worth $95 mil, $65 guarenteed... Wow... Is he worth it? Sure, but.....
  2. Eh, lb in designation only for Judon. The Ravens run basically a 5- 2 most of the time, they just rotate which side covers the flat if/ when needed. Sometimes that means Judon would drop, thus the designation of olb, rather de or dt. It matters little except for money... None of them, the lbs, can cover very well.
  3. Hurst wasn't any better than Boyle nor the other highly drafted waste of a pick Max Williams were in their rookie pre season games. Henry has been decent, I would hardly call him the best linemen last year, Judon had a great season too. This team is loaded with defensive linemen,
  4. Since the Ravens were going to cut him, yes. He is nothing more than a role player, I said it when they drafted him, I'll gloat now....
  5. Crav left talking football on his own. He grew tired, like many including my self, Dee, of the way the game is going and the way the team is being run. Him leaving had nothing to do with papa, crav loves banter. He only came back for a short time because his daughter died and he felt close to her talking Ravens football, she was a huge fan. Now drop it, ignore papa or leave. Enough of this attack crap. Ok, papa is hard on the team, big freaking deal.
  6. Hurst is unproven, Henry inconsistent. I don't see either as a big loss right now.
  7. Bahahahahaha they, the Titans, gave up too much! He can't cover, he gets lost in space, (danger-danger Wil Robinson), and he can't get past good offensive linemen in the regular season. He was a wasted over reach of a draft pick back then, good riddance..
  8. They're likely hiding Scott on the IR because he is too raw but has potential...
  9. Qbr in the pre season, just click bait for the uninformed. 7 of 10 passes that were 2, 5, 8 yards away is nothing to talk about. He played well yes, but as you said papa, against pizza delivery drivers.
  10. RG had time and had open receivers yet could not be accurate. He misread several defenses, making the wrong reads. Yes, the line stunk last night, but he still could have made some good throws. The rook would have done the same thing if not more because he is more maneuverable than RG was, is. There are no more linemen that are free agents worth taking. Ozzie screwed the past five drafts for linemen, thus what we have today. Even Zeus jr is terrible, he missed blocks, couldn't stay on blocks he even takled his own runningback while trying to find someone to block on the 2nd level. Saragusa is horrible, the English dude, Elama what ever, is very bad and don't get me started on the center who can't shot gun snap consistantly.....
  11. I think last night proved they don't need to nor can afford to carry 3 qbs. RG is terrible, if Joe gets hurt just put the rookie in, save the roster spot for another position like offensive line. They have no back ups and I don't think they even have 5...
  12. Yeah this before camp starts to injured during camp is a bit ridiculous. Hope it heals well, foot injuries can linger for a long time. Just hope he doesn't turn out to be a Trent Smith, great guy, great hands and talent, but unlucky with injuries.
  13. I would like to say I am surprised, but sadly this organization has shown their true colors over the past few years. They know they won't keep him next year, they planned for it with all the drafted corners the past few drafts. So why keep him now? They can still support him, help him get over his roid rage without having him on the team. Maybe if the fans & media were more vocal they will cut him, ala Ray Rice.
  14. So their plan is to purchase 10 existing buildings, then tear them down. They will build the culver deeper, adding a 2nd one, and wider. 5 year, $40-50 mil at least. No idea where the money will come from... I know these people are "smarter" than me, but I saw a vid not too long ago about inflatable, automatic, dams. Why not install them along the base of the buildings, use a sensor, when, if the water gets too high up stream, they inflate. Certainly a lot less money and no need to kick people and businesses out of Ellicott City. https://www.damitdams.com/inflatable-dams-inflatable-flood-barriers/
  15. If they don't win a playoff game this season is Marvin done? Is Dalton gone?
  16. According to Smith, it is true.
  17. Ozzie has screwed the team for the past few years. I don't think Jackson can make it either, but then, I hope so.
  18. I hate ProFootball Talk but I have to agree with this article. Runningbacks are easy to find, corners not so much, cowards. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2018/08/22/its-2014-all-over-again-for-the-ravens/
  19. Release him, show some cookies, cap hit be smacked.
  20. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/0ap3000000950015/article/ravens-cb-jimmy-smith-suspended-for-four-games The NFL found evidence of threatening and emotionally abusive behaviors by Jimmy toward his former girlfriend that showed a pattern of improper conduct. Our player's behavior was inappropriate and wrong. "As an organization, we have carefully reviewed the matter to determine the appropriate course of action for our team to take as Jimmy's employer.
  21. He was good in the USFL, yes, but thdn look at the talent level overall, that he was playing against. Watch his 30 for 30, he will tell you what I just did; he needed Walsh and Montanna, to reach his potential.
  22. Hey, I am not saying he will or will not be a franchise qb, only that he is at least a year away. Many qb's have come out of college with accuracy, footwork issues and been fine. Many have learned to read defenses. He might, I hope he does he is a good young man and with his escapability it would be great. Steve Young took quite a few years and only then learned from a hall of fame coach and backed up a hall of fame qb before "he got it".
  23. Right, looks like he will be listed as # 2 but if Joe gets hurt, RG will come in.. Man, a straight cover 2, all game long and he still could not make the right read, not to mention his foot work and accuracy. He has a full year of learning to do...
  24. Yes, several players have stepped up so far this preseason, Edwards just one of them. Chris Moore has really improved his hands, he was a body catcher coming out of college. He struggled the past 2 years with his hands but it looks like his hard work is paying off. I expect him to make the team. A good returner in a pinch. A side from the fumble by Grant, that dude just won't go down, he runs with a fierce mentality, and he is quick. I don't know if they have the roster spots to keep just a returner, as he is very raw as a receiver, but he would get my vote. Chuck Clarke has also played well, should be interesting to see if he sticks. Jimmy Penalty Smith will be out for 4 games, not injured this time, conduct detrimental to the league, jeesh...
