  1. With the voice of the cowardly lion; please don't let them draft Bosa, please oh please please please please not Bosa....
  2. Tell you what, if they draft Elliot, I will no longer be a Ravens fan. That is how sure I am that they will not. Great to read Joe and Breshard are making progress.
  3. They trade 1st round picks and give up;3rd & 4th round this year and 1st round next year and a 2nd round in 2018. They get:the Browns 4th rounder this year
  4. Thr back in college had huge holes and built his yards up against burger flippers and car salesman. His weight has nothing to do with his ineffectiveness in the NFL. His lack of vision and slow feet are the reasons. On his fourth team will not change his terrible play. Just another Bama guy for Ozzie, I wish he would retire and just take over in Bama. These Bama busts are costing the team now.
  5. These stadiums are a joke to begin with. They are never paid off, tax payers pay the price for their life time. This crap that city's benefit from having a team, financially, is just that, crap. Any in depth study shows cities lose money, tax payers lose money. You want to hear about a bad deal, the city of New Orleans had a horrible deal not only paying, in full for the stadium, but also paying millions of dollars each year to the team for them to stay there. This was a few years ago, I am not sure the same deal holds but I would not be surpised if it did.
  6. The league was very much involved in the move. They have been wanting a team back there since the Rams first left. Not sure why, the draw wont be any better than it was in Arizona.
  7. This early, if all are healthy, without knowin the draft etc... I could see 9-10 wins...
  8. I can almost see their point, almost. They have a very good, young defense, an excellent running back, who is young, a good offensive line, young and a decent, not great, receiving core, young. One could make the argument that they only need a young, good quarterback... Me, nope, I don't give up that much, their cap in a year or two is going to be a mess with all the talent at positions that will demand high dollar salaries.
  9. Then at Browns, @ Jags, home for the Raiders and Skins then @ Giants & Jets, then bye week, home to Steelers & Browns, @ Dallas, Bengals & Phish at home, NE on the road, Iggles at home finnish with Steelers and Bengals on the road.
  10. First game Sept 11 http://www.nfl.com/schedules/2016/REG/RAVENS
  11. Irony? They fleeced the Redskins in the RGIII trade, even boasting how they got the better deal. A few years later, they get fleeced... Now, I think Goff, if he is the pick, will be a stud if given the right coaching... However, Fisher has not shown he has patience with young quarterbacks.... Either way, this may monkey up the entire draft..
  12. Browns are looking to move down, presumably with a team looking to get a qb. However, if the Rams take said qb, would a team still move up to 2? Would the Browns still take a qb at 2 if the Rams take one at 1. But yes, you take Tunsil at 6 if he is there but I just can't see him lasting to 6 even with the question marks on him if he doesn't go one. What is still possible is the Ravens moving back, maybe even more so now, and landing Lee at 13, 18...
  13. Trade up to one with the Titans. The Rams get the Titan's pick in the 4th & 6th round. They give the Titans their; 2 seconds, and a third this year PLUS, a 1st and 3rd next year.
  14. He tested positive for pot again and over diluted urine on the latest test per ESPN. What a waste of great talent and he is reportedly rooming with Manzel... Oy
  15. I am not surprised and I suppose this could have gone in any one of the retired young players thread, but I thought it deserved its own thread. I would really like to see them test people who played sports throughout their lives but never at the NFL level. Those who have had concussions from anything, to see if they can determine how many it will take until these sysptoms, this disease, takes hold. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/morning-mix/wp/2016/04/12/40-percent-of-former-nfl-players-suffer-from-brain-damage-new-study-shows/
  16. No, taking him makes no sense, and would be brainless if they did... running backs are a dime a dozen, costly if you want to keep the top back for a decade, if they last that long..... more needs far more pressing,,,
  17. Great players do not always make good coaches, let alone great coaches. So many examples to pick from, the most obvious, Nike Singleterry. People, players get tired of the rah-rah hominids. If he can coach, great, if not it would not bother me if he did not coach. He stinks on Espn, he needs to go for sure.
  18. http://abcnews.go.com/US/super-bowl-winner-smith-shot-killed-orleans-suspect/story?id=38285569 Over words, after a traffic accident, minor. Such a shame for all incolved.
  19. Nah, a player retires, the money is no longer guaranteed. People forget, it is only now, the past few years that high schools are tracking concussions. Most of the players in the game have had many more before even reaching college, they just either never knew the symptoms or did not care. It is not just football either, soccer, cheer leading (which actually leads in concussions) wrestling..... You don't have to gt hit to get a concussion, the brain sits in liquid, go fast, stop fast, that brain goes boom against the skull.... Minor bruising to major bruising still equals concussion. Symptoms are slight to major, but usually always include a head ache to some degree. The big question for doctors & researches is; how many concussions does it take for CTE to form?
  20. Excellent read an analysis.
  21. why does it skip from pick 5 to pick 8? does it happen to any one else?
  22. Boy that would be tempting, but they need too many positions and there are many very good players in the draft at the positions the team needs.... I would think they pass on trading up. Maybe they trade back into the late first to nab Joseph is they think he won't make it to the 5th pick in the 2nd... While Ramsey is clearly the better, Joseph should be an excellent safety in his own right.
  23. If Perriman is healthy, I expect to see him get plenty of playing time....
  24. http://m.baltimoreravens.com/news/article-1/Ravens-2016-Preseason-Schedule-Announced-/2915f4e3-c743-4132-b5d0-115afb3e1d0b Some "good" match ups.
  25. The Chargers are the only team I think could take him before the Ravens. Everything might change if the first pick does get traded. . To have a real cover linebacker would be awesome.
