  1. But rarely, rarely, are they confident enough to stand up the abuser. If you notice how she reacts and acted when he "spit on her" outside the elevator, and then again inside, it is clear, she is not affraid of him, thus, he likely has never done this before.
  2. So Biscut was fine signing, as papa loved, a person who killed another, but not a man who hit a woman. They will sign a player suspened 3 times for drug use, roids, but not stand by a player he "loved".... Oh I know, I should stop picking on Biscut, there is no gravy to go with the grits.
  3. If you go back to the early days, there have been a number of domestic violence issues, from Ray to McCrary, C-Mac, and a few others, all that went under the rug all the way up to today....Granted Steve wasn't the sole owner back then, but he is one of the common people in all of this.....
  4. Ah, ok thanks Papa. I just wonder if it was true or a made up story to get the ring or the money. Either way, it did not make this much of a fuss, the media never sought out Biscut for a response.
  5. Did we ever find out if what Sugg's girl friend claimed, was true? Did he realy drag her along side the car, pour bleach on her and a chid, punch her in the neck? I know she dropped all charges and the lawsuit, but it has been two years, we never heard much about it, I guess since there was no video, there was no crime? Biscut, are you out there, did you speak with Suggs about those incidents (plural)? Did you help him cover it up or help him get his gun collection back?
  6. I have to admit I was wrong, I expected the score, only in favor of the Steelers. It was nice to get up this morning to know I was wrong. But college football rocks, especially with a surround sound system..............
  7. Oh in a major & number of ways. According to Ozzie and to three unnamed sources who not only read the transcripts, but reportedly were in the room when Goody interviewed Ray & Janay, Ray was clear, there was no soft coating i what happen. He clearly said he punched his wife and nocked her out. My guess, this circle the waggons Biscut called for yesterday with all the staff was to get their stories straight since Biscut and Ozzie have differen versions. Some great owner huh? By the way, a good game going on right now between North texas & La Tech, a number of good NFL prospects playing, CBS sports line.... This should be a good game, no need to give my ratings to Biscut or the NFL., pssss
  8. Remarks...... Their play by play radio guy for saying Janay marrying Ray after the incident, was insane. Never mind there is a defense end who is accussed of beating, not punching, but beating his pregnant girl friend, who has quite visible bruses and cuts. Now she could have gotten those from him simply trying to fend her off.... But why not suspend him with pay until due process? Oh that is right, the coach, Gm & owner all claim to have 0, zero, nadda, zilch tolerence for this "sort of thing".... No, the NFL doesn't have a problem. The Carolina owner was in tears trying to explain to the media and fund raising crowd that he is against domestic violence, yet lets a man convicted of not just beating his wife/girl friend, not punching, but beating her and, threatening to kill her.... Convicted, yet he is not only allowed to walk the streets while his appeal is heard, but collect millions and play... I gues he should play, because if she is the reson for him losing his job, he might carry out his threat........ Again I say, no the NFl does not have a domestic violence problem, nor an issue with being "tough on offenders"....
  9. I know you are but what am I?
  10. Biscut never talked to Rice? Really? The man you claimed you loved as a son is in deep trouble and you:"never talkd with him" ?
  11. Schefty says several owners think this investigation is nothing but a witch hunt. I guess we know where this is going; on the bottom of the back page with an innocent secretary fired..........
  12. Per ESPN, now an independant investigator, former FBI head, Mueller, over see, cough, cough, by Rooney and Mara.... in other words, cover up, wait it out, turn a blind eye........ some underling will get fired..... Mean while, Greeny said it best- He came down hard on the Saints for them claiming they did not know, suspended Paton for a year, what will the owners do to him? psssss Yes, crav, if there was a mafooch in real life, the NFL would be just like it.....
  13. I know, sorry, several bad experiences with unons have me jaded I guess......
  14. They should, but if you know unions, you know they only take up cases that make them look good, they are cowards now adays, and not just the NFLPA, all unions.
  15. Um, TMZ is the media, of sorts I suppose. The general media only goes with what is "hot" at the moment. I agree, the media are dogs, they just as easily could not have shown the video, there by saving Janay any more embarassment. But since they decide what is news, here we are. Don't call out the attention from where is belongs, with the NFL and the Ravens.
  16. No, the report says they received in April, as the police source stated that he/she sent it to the NFL....
  17. He meant to say, steak-holder, he feeds off of the fans like humans do cattle....
  18. Based on what Goody has done, yes, he has set a dangerous precedent by what he did with Rice. I agree, if they had just given him 6-10 this all would be nothing today... Now, let us see what happens with Gregg Hardy, convicted, under appeal, of far more agregious acts aginst his wife.
  19. He is on a practice squad, they can resign him any time.
  20. Even if she did anything to cause the outburst of Ray, how they could possibly allow her to apologize and then, tweet she apologized. They really screwed this one up big time. Nothing will happen to the Ravens execs, fans will still fill the stadium, buy merchandise, concessions while at the games, hit up their web site, in other words, feed their pockets. Fans don't really care, they just want to watch the game, feel as if they are apart of the team; go ahead, join a team as incompetent as this one. The more that comes out, the worse they, Biscutt and Cass, look.
  21. Follow the bouncing ball.... IF it is true, then Goody lied. I highly doubt a staffer would get the tape, watch it and risk losing their job by not forwarding it to the proper people. Now, If it is true, since the NFl would have had and watched the tape in April, this could over turn Rice's suspension.... Now, If it is true, do you honestly think the comish would not call Stave B and say:"you have to watch this" or something along those lines? Follow the lies, as I said before, if we look close, listen carefully, the truth will over take the darkness....
  22. he didn't take the fight any where Pap,. They were going to the elevator. Yes, argueing on the way, nonetheless, going there anyway. The arguement escalated inside, yes, but it isn't as if he clearly said to his drunk self; better not hit her out here, wait till I get to the elevator........
  23. According to the AP< per ESPN, a law enforement official confirms, they sent a copy of the elevator video to an NFL exec, IN APRIL. So some one's head is going to roll...... stay tuned, this aint over till the germans bomb pearl harbour. edit to add- there is a voice mail confirmation from a female at NFl offices saying they got the video and yes, it was disturbing..... oooooo
  24. The first, at the front of the elevator, was a slap, minsing words I know, but bear with me here.... The second was in response to her spitting on him. No, I am not excussing him, not my intent at all. Simply, and I have some experience here having a sister who was abused, a brother accused numerous times of abusing his wife, fake reports, am trying to say there is good reason to believe he never has beaten her before. Food for thought, is all. I understand that most men, once a woman beater always a woman beater, but there are some who only did it once and usually, alcohol was involved and instigation by the woman.
  25. There is no evidence he has done this before. In fact, since there was alchol invloved and that he did not beat her, simply (sorry, wrong word I know) struck her once, it is very likely he has never done this before. If that were to be true, then she is not a battered woman, but a woman who loves her husband and know this was out of the ordinary for her. Time will tell and I hope I am right.
