  1. It sure looked like it. I know Romo mentioned at least one guy who was signed off the street 3 days prior and starting at linebacker
  2. Denver Vs Buffalo is going to be an interesting game. The Bills defense is very suspect because of injuries, Nix can run and when he gets hot, look out. Would be nice if Denver won.
  3. I loved the helmets with the full face Raven they used a few times. Get those in metallic, wow... The talking heads all say Mini and Detroit are the best teams, well, they certainly looked like the same old teams last night.
  4. Their line is still suspect. The Ravens front four has been collapsing pockets all season. If they do that again, it should mitigate Pickens. But rest assured, they will target Stephens and Harrison/Board who don't take proper drops to stop those seam passes to the tightends. Remember, Pit only won the first game in the series because the Ravens turned the ball over and penalties. Just like the last game, if the Ravens can relax and just play mostly mistake free football, they will win. This team, if you listen to the post game interviews, the lockeroom speeches after the win against the Browns, is truly focussed, determined to not let complacency, arrogance, dare I say stupidity stop them from their next goal: win the AFC.
  5. Game is Saturday at 8 eastern
  6. What more can we say that has not been said: these two teams meet once again for the rubber match. Pit is on a 4 game bender while the Ravens have won 4 in a row in blowout style. The goal for the Ravens this year has been more than just winning it all, it has been about playing their best all game every game. This has not always been the case this year, of the game they lost, they gave them away with costly turnovers and ill timed penalties. In short, teams didn't really beat them, they beat them selves. The knock on Lamar has been not just his playoff record, 2-4, but his erratic play. Not taking what the defense gives him, short passes or timely runs when lanes open, not taking care of the ball, I'll advised throws that get intercepted, or the fumbles. So a familiar foe, one that had his number in the regular season until a complete domination just two weeks ago seemed to quell the questions about big game performances. So it is only fitting that he face the same demon and banish it to start the run to the Silver Betty. The defense too will be tested once again, have they truly improved from the pourus unit that plagued this team at times this year? Does the team have the discipline it will take to win in the post season? So, who ya got?
  7. And papa would love nothing better With the Chargers in the lead, it is looking more and more like a rubber match with Pit
  8. Man, it ain't over, but 31-0, yeah, buh bye Cinci!
  9. So Josh handed off once then sat out so, Lamar 316/474(66.67%) • 4,172 passing yards • 41 passing TDs • 4 INTs • 915 rushing yards • 4 rushing TDs Allen 307 of 483 (63.6 %) 3,731 passing 28 yds 6 ints 531 yards rushing 12 tds Any questions? Both teams won their respective divisions, 1 win separates, as of now before the end of the Joshless Bills vs Pats game, the two teams with Lamar out playing Josh head to head in a blow out win. Both players set league records, all time records.

  11. He was good when he had easy throws, when he had time to throw. When the pocket gets squeezed and his 1st read is covered, he panics and throws off target. That is a big reason why Denver let him go.
  12. True, but come on papa, no team is perfect. I admit to doubting throughout the season, especially the defense, which, with Stephens and Harrison/Simpson/Board at backer, still worry me. But 4k +passing yards, 900+ rushing yards, 40+ touchdowns with ONLY 4 picks, never, Never ever been done before in the league and likely will never be done again. Lamar has shown he is in the top rank of qbs. As a team to have 4k passing yards and 1900+ rushing yards, never, ever been done before. This offense has shown that it is dangerous Yes, it means very little if they don't win it all. But you know, to win it all it take a little "luck", staying healthy, getting the ball to bounce the right way. But if this front four can continue to squeeze the pocket as they have done most all season, get timely sacks, it may cover up the issues at one corner and one inside backer. Clearly when this team is focussed and playing loose, they can beat anyone.
  13. I hope so. Granted Pit laid another egg, Cinci believes. They showed, just as Pitts last four or five losses showed, take away Pickens and his circus catches of Wilson's moon passes and their offense is nothing. The only difference between he and Fields is that Fields can run.
  14. 12 wins even with this defense, yeah, a lot of teams tried that and failed. There is a reason this offense is top what, 3 in scoring and total yards? As I've said before, there is not 1 total dominant team this year. Just like college ball. So get to the dance and take control. The only real question is the health of Flowers
  15. I would love to see the Steelers lose, they are close to imploding, so many players speaking out, coach calling them a jv team. So long as Denver or Miami wins
  16. Cleveland had the front, but clearly could not hold up all game long. One mistake amd Henry is gone. They knew the Ravens were running, put 10, 10 in the box, Henry got to the outside, made one move and 43 yards later, his 2nd touchdown. This with the offensive line using back up guards most of the night
  17. Starters out, Johnson in Run up the middle for 4 2 mins Mitchell right gets 4 Mitchell up the middle for no gain Clock runs diwn to 33 seconds Ravens call a time out Division Champs Wow, who would havs thought after the seasons start, entering the bye, before the 3 games in 11 days!
